Disappointing Experience at Boshinski Eye Clinic I was hopeful for a change from the usual big-box eye care chains when I visited Boshinski Eye Clinic. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. From the start, I was met with unexpected hurdles. Despite needing an updated prescription, I was informed that my insurance wouldn’t cover contacts or glasses for another three months. While I understood this policy, it felt frustrating given my immediate need. The eye exam itself went well, with the doctor providing helpful information. However, the issues arose afterwards. Upon checking out, I was presented with a hefty $150 bill. The receptionist explained that while they couldn’t process my contact order, I also was not eligible for my annual eye exam. After the exam took place. Had I known this beforehand, I would have saved myself the time and money. The clinic’s pushiness was another major drawback. They aggressively encouraged me to schedule a future appointment requiring my medical insurance and were insistent on me trying the brands of contact lenses they promote, rather than the one I’ve used for over 15 years. Their behavior bordered on rude, especially when I asked for sample lenses. The overall atmosphere at Boshinski Eye Clinic was unpleasant. The staff seemed disinterested and condescending during subsequent phone calls. I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience.
