We came from an hour away to consult with Dr Thomas Krulewski. He is very detail oriented and gives excellent patient care. The other office staff was impressive and dedicated to patient care. I highly recommend this office!

Brought my client in to order new glasses, and while we were there Ashley was incredibly helpful and so sweet and kind to the both of us and all the other customers who came in! She even adjusted MY glasses for me completely free. I haven’t seen such good customer service in so long, it was so refreshing! Great job Ashley!!
My wife and I have been very satisfied patients of Dr Armesto for years as he has been very thorough and attentive. Now that he is easing into retirement, our care has been transferred to Dr Krulewski and we feel the care has greatly deteriorated. He seems to be in a rush to complete the examinations and does not appear to review your history. My first visit with Dr Krulewski lasted about 2 minutes instead of the normal 10 to 15 minutes. Next, I normally have 3 tests done every year in late summer. Last week Dr Krulewski told me to come back in 6 months for a pressure check. When I said I would be away from October thru April, he told me to come in before I leave town for the pressure check. No mention was made of the other 3 tests. My wife was just there and felt rushed. She was told by Dr Krulewski that she needs cataract surgery. She felt pushed to schedule it. Because of that she was very uncomfortable proceeding without another opinion. We are not willing to take chances with our vision and are now in the process of changing to a new provider where the need for her potential cataract surgery will be evaluated. UPDATE: My wife had her initial appointment with a new opthalmologist. While she will eventually need cataract surgery, there is no need now. She will be reevaluated next year.
I am new to the area and called to set up an appointment for my daughter who has seen an ophthalmologist her entire life as it has been medically necessary for her to do so. This practice reports they see pediatric patients online. The receptionist was the rudest person I have ever encountered. She tried to tell me that my daughter's needs are not medically necessary, as if she has access to our 8 years of medical history. I felt she was talking to me like I was dumb and refused to schedule us with the doctor. Now, I'm a midwesterner with a southern flair, I have never been rude to someone like this in my life. From the looks of other reviews, I'm not the first who has encountered this. When I mentioned that we have seen a pediatric ophthalmologist for 8 years and that was deemed medically necessary, her response was, "it's different here in Pennsylvania." Um...sure. Got it. I can't say if the doctors are quality providers or not as I was deemed not important enough to be seen by the mighty gatekeeper.
I saw Dr. K for about 10 minutes in February 2026. I was given no paperwork when I checked out. I understand that Dr. Armesto is retiring and both Dr. Hoseys have left the practice.
