The facility is very clean and spacious. The medical assistants were timely and thorough. The scheduled was running over 1 1/2 hours late. Communication was lacking. It would have been a courtesy for staff to inform me of the schedule issue. My 9:15 am appt, I was seen at after 11 am. I arrived at 9am he confirmed time. Pleased with my exam and recommend treatment. From now on im scheduling first appt of the day.

Pros. Staff is great. Great results. Cons. Computer notification only notifies you 12 days before a scheduled appointment, which could have been made months ago. If you miss it it is a $50 fee. The computer notification should also notify you 2 to 3 days prior. It doesn't cost BV anything extra for a program to do that.

I’ve been going for years, and my experience has consistently been excellent. Dr. Dunker is truly amazing, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients. The staff is always professional, welcoming, and very helpful. I highly recommend this office 100%.

The procedure for lasik was fine, however the billing process was very difficult. I had a bill for $165 for over a year that I didn’t know about until I got a text message a few days ago. When I called they said they sent bills in the mail and left me several voice messages. I received neither. Turns out they had the wrong address so the mail was not getting to me. As far as messages go, they said that perhaps they had a bad number too. I reminded them that I received a text this week. So I spoke with billing and unfortunately as expected they defended themselves and basically said I should have told them I had insurance. Nothing about them leaving phantom voice messages or mailing the wrong address. Why did they take so long to text wasn’t answered either. I paid the bill but I am done with Boston Vision. Again, to be fair, the procedure was good (most importantly) but their billing department completely turned me off.

The practice was easy to find and access. The receptionist was friendly and checked me in quickly. The waiting area allows plenty of space to sit quietly. I arrived half an hour early and expected to wait a bit but I was called within 10 minutes of sitting and reading my book. The two women who began my visit were friendly, patient, and attentive. Nothing was uncomfortable. Dr. Keshav was the doctor I was assigned. He was direct, efficient, and thorough with my examination. He determined there was a problem and discussed the possible procedures to correct the issues (blurry/double vision after cataract surgery, pain in my eyes, and trouble focusing doing common things). I needed to supply lens information for him to narrow down the issue which was done through email. Dr. Keshav quickly responded and answered my concerns and questions. Very satisfied with how I was treated at this practice to this point.
