Bowden Eye & Associates – Beaches

The Eye Associates on Beach Blvd at Jacksonville Beach recently purchased the business from a now Retired Doctor. I am very happy with the Extraordinary Customer Service. Dr Zachary Boeskool was very through explaining what I need to be doing to currently care for my eyes and I will expecting in the future. The staff supporting him provided kind, professional support. I enjoy frames art when I go to Doctor and Dentist offices.

Great experience from start to finish. The front desk were pleasant and helpful, the young lady who dialed in my prescription did an awesome job, and the doctor was knowledgeable and explained the situation in a way I could understand it. Seamless and efficient start to finish. And nice as well

I took my father for an appointment with Dr. Schneider Tuesday. There were many people waiting to see the doctor; clearly, the office was overwhelmed. We waited one hour and 45 minutes to see the doctor. This is unacceptable. In addition, the receptionist in the office was quite sick, coughing non-stop, not covering. She announced to the waiting room that she had been sick as a dog the previous day. When I asked if she would like to put on a mask, she said she was fine that day. Clearly, she was not. Finally, the doctor prescribed an antibiotic for my father's eye. The receptionist said it had been called in. The pharmacy never received it. I have called multiple times to follow up and have received no response. I find all of this completely unacceptable.

I have been to this clinic twice now and I highly recommend them. My wait time was minimal, and the front desk lady is the sweetest woman ever. She seems to genuinely care about you. Dr. Schneider is also very down to earth and easy to talk to. I called one morning freaking out after having something in my eye for 2 days, they told me to come right away and I was seen immediately. He taught me ways to save money when it comes to buying glasses and eye drops. Very nice office too.

I had cataract surgery Thursday, 1/9/25, first eye. Today, Saturday 1/11/25, I am already taking my glasses off! I.e. I'm typing this on my phone without them on. The process leading up to the surgery was detailed and thorough. You just gave to pay attention AND refer to your paperwork. The day of surgery and the actual surgery, was a breeze. Dr. Schneiders calm and reassuring manner, put me at ease. So, yes, I highly recommend Dr. Timothy Schneider and the Schneider Eye and Wellness Center.
