Have been shopping around for glasses for a few months now and went to Brea Optometry as a last resort and had one of the best customer experiences. Fast service and they were very commutative and polite to me on my 3 visits I had. Recommend to anyone looking for a quality optometrist!

Our 1st visit to Brea Optometry was more than amazing. My daughter and I were very excited to get new eye exams, new prescriptions, new eye doctor and new glasses. We both have vision problems and for me night vision, driving and extremely tired eyes from screen/ reading time all wear your eyes down. Diane and Gabby were amazing as well as front office staff was friendly, nice and so helpful. We felt so at home at this office. As we were driving away my teenager said, I loved that office, I could see myself being a patient there for many more years! Such wonderful and positive vibes as well as really uplifting and great energy! Thank you for giving us a warm welcome and I will gladly refer everyone I know to your office. Thank you for treating us with acceptance and kindness, What a breath of fresh air! Kudos to you in a well diversified office with wonderful staff! Happy Employees and Happy Customers!

Love, love, love everyone at Brea Optometry! Dr. Almanza has been our family eye doctor for years- l actually can’t remember how long. She and all the staff are wonderful. They truly care about you. Just had my checkup today and Kimberly fixed my sunglasses that someone sat on. They’re working perfectly and she and everyone else were kind and welcoming as always. I can’t say enough about them all! My whole family lives Brea Optometry!❤️

I had a decent phone experience when I made the appointment, and they were polite when I came in for my appointment. However, I was first told that insurance was not going to cover a new pair of glasses for me, which I told them had to be incorrect because I was definitely due a new pair. They also told me that my prescription was completely different than my current one, and pressed me to make an additional $800 purchase for special lenses not covered by insurance. Eventually I was able to get them to call my insurance company and confirm that I was actually due a new pair of glasses. It has now been a month and a half with no glasses, and I have made multiple phone calls and been told that my glasses are not ready yet, and that there is something weird going on with my insurance and someone will definitely be giving me a call back in the next few hours. They were supposed to only take 3 weeks to come in. Nobody has called me back for the last week, and I am still without my glasses. I am now forced to find another eye doctor and wait even longer to be able to see properly.

Of any optometrist I’ve been to, I’ve had the best experience with Dr.Almanza! She is so knowledgeable and personable. Overall, everything has been great and way faster than expected! All employees are also very kind and welcoming, which makes each appointment so nice. Highly recommend!
