I am very pleased with the optical department at the Haines City Walmart. I have a difficult to fill prescription, due to very high astigmatism in my right eye. The last two times, Sharon has been my technician, and she has provided expert service for me. Sharon is friendly, thorough, and highly professional, all while multitasking as the vision center is always very busy. I am grateful for the value and professionalism of the optical department in general, and Sharon in particular!

I had a very frustrating experience at the Walmart Vision Center. I went to pick up my son's glasses after being notified that they were ready, but I was told I couldn’t receive them because the person working there wasn’t licensed. This makes no sense to me since I was only picking up glasses, not requesting an exam or any specialized service. What made the situation even more frustrating is that this is the second time this month I’ve gone there and wasn’t able to get service for the exact same reason. What is the point of being open if you can’t provide even basic service like releasing glasses that are already paid for and ready for pickup? This experience has been extremely inconvenient and disappointing. I hope management addresses this issue so other customers don’t waste their time like I did.
