Carolina Eye Associates Rockingham Center

The Rockingham office called me in June to reschedule my annual appointment due to my Doctor of over 30 years was retiring. I was given a new date. I showed up that morning early. After waiting a short time I was called back to check in. My new date was not put into their system, I had no appointment. Just a few months earlier my wife had an appointment. She waited between the waiting and examining room 1 hour and 45 minutes, only to see the doctor 15 minutes. I was asked did I want to come back that afternoon. Knowing how things were being handled I chose to not come back that afternoon or at all. The lady that checked me in was ok, but when my last annual visit when checking out, the woman was rude to me, that was ok. But I was talking to a law officer while waiting, she addressed him in a very negative way. My family will not be coming back, and I am completely aware it does not make any difference to the employees or the business. Treat your patients better.

I gave my experience a 3 because although the doctor was professional, knowledgeable and friendly but the staff there was not so cordial or people friendly. Whenever I call this office the staff almost NEVER answers the phone. Which can be inconvenient to a patient who has questions so now that person has to drive to the office to get assistance that could have been taken care of over the phone.

I am grateful for them to see my daughter but they prescribed her eye drops that they never sent to the pharmacy. I still haven't gotten them. We went on June 3 to see the doctor. I have been to the pharmacy on the 3rd and today. Still not gotten it. 🤦 She needs them to get well.

I recently had an eye appointment and later received my new glasses. Staff members courteous , knowledge and gave great instructions. I would recommend Carolina Eye to every one needing eye care. Thank you so much.

They never answer the phone so last week I used my lunch just the lady at the front desk, to take a message and i never heard anything back. The doctor Fisher said it was important to use the drops but i don't have any because my insurance will not approve them so i should have been sent something in, no one ever called to tell me that the insurance did not approve them. I have called 3 times today, even call another office but they could not help me told me to call back in 3 days.
