Very professional staff. My eyes dilated fast. I couldnt finish my paperwork. The young lady at the front desk helped me. She had a beautiful smile. Thats rare this day when you need help. I was very pleased with Dr.Brugger. He examined my eyes and went over the results in a language I completely understood. I appreciated that. I will definitely be a patient of his.

I’m from Florida and a year ago I while I was visiting South Carolina. I had a problem with one of my eyes that turned into needing surgery to reattach the retina. I didn’t know anybody here and after calling my eye surgeon in Florida for a recommendation they said they had no idea of who would be able to take care of me. On a hunch after searching the Internet, I randomly called Carolina Eye Physicians and was scheduled for an immediate appointment that same day. Their staff and doctors were wonderful and I was scheduled for surgery within two days, which would probably have been quicker if it wasn’t a Friday that I met with the surgeon. The surgery took place the following Monday. The care that I received from these people and Dr. Jonathon Brugger, was immaculate and beyond reproach. After a year I have developed a situation that apparently will require surgery. And because I happen to be in the area again, I decided to schedule an appointment With Dr. Brugger, for a second opinion. Again, Carolina eye, care reacted, quickly, and professionally and answered. All of my questions. If I lived in South Carolina, this is the only company that I would trust for my eye care.

Would not recommend. Went in as was seeing what I thought were floaters. Told me I had cataracts and sent me to a specialist in Nexton. Waited forever to be seen there. 2 waiting rooms and both were packed and people even standing. Saw specialist there and was told he could take care of floaters but so would be better to do cataract surgery so they sent me to the real I guess cataract specialist. When I got there his nurse checked my eyes and glasses and brought me in exam room. She couldn’t figure why everyone had me jumping making all these appointments when I could see fine in other eye and could read and see tv with eye that had a floater. She was puzzled and said my insurance wouldn’t pay for cataract surgery now when still had pretty good vision! Asked me if I was charged a copay that day and when I told her no, she said good as I didn’t need to.

Thank you to the staff at Carolina Eyecare Physicians for getting me in so quickly this week! Dr. Bruggar was very informative and knowledgeable. He certainly helped me to feel much better in understanding what was happening with my eye.

Dr. Brugger was very thorough and explained my husband and my conditions very clearly. I would highly recommend him to everyone
