I am not technically a patient, but I shadowed Dr.Kearney as someone interested in going to medical school and becoming an ophthalmologist. I have to say, out of all the docs I've met, Dr.Kearney and his team are the best. They provide absolutely excellent patient care. Dr.K is attentive, personable, and very knowledgeable in his field. You can tell he really loves what he does and goes above and beyond for each patient. I highly recommend the practice! Thank you for all you do for our community!

I was seen at a local eye care chain and they said I had to see a specialist with little information I called around was unable to find an appointment in less then two months I called this office they got me right in the next day the day of the appointment I over booked myself and had to cancel well in the office they were super friendly and gave me an appointment for just two days later. Seen Dr Carney and he did a thorough eye examination answered all of my questions And put my mind at Ease, I was so impressed that I inquired about making appointments for other family members. I would highly recommend this office to anybody seeking eye treatment care.

I have never experienced such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment from a medical office in my life. Sacandaga Eye Care has completely failed at the most basic level of patient care — treating people like they actually matter. We arrived ON TIME for our appointment, yet somehow ended up being seen LAST, as if our time meant absolutely nothing. Watching people who arrived after us get called ahead repeatedly was beyond frustrating — it was insulting. There was zero communication, zero accountability, and not even a simple acknowledgment or apology for the outrageous wait. What makes this even worse is that we were bringing in disabled clients that we personally care for. Instead of showing patience, understanding, or compassion, the staff made us feel like an inconvenience. The attitude we received was dismissive, belittling, and completely lacking empathy. No caregiver or vulnerable patient should ever be made to feel small or unimportant while seeking medical care. The office feels disorganized and poorly managed, and the way clients are treated reflects that. Patients are not numbers on a clipboard — yet that’s exactly how we were treated. The entire experience felt cold, careless, and deeply disrespectful. If you value professionalism, basic courtesy, or respect for your time — look elsewhere. Patients deserve dignity, especially when trusting a healthcare provider, and this office failed on every level imaginable. I sincerely hope serious changes are made, because the way things are currently being run is unacceptable

The entire staff is amazing! I have always been treated with respect and kindness. Linda Kearney is a phenomenal opthamologist. You get plenty of reminders of your up coming appointments. The facility is clean, bright, and welcoming. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family to come here for their eye care needs.
