I have been a patient of the center for eye health and of Dr. Paul Beade for the past several years. I have found everyone from the front office staff to medical assistants, to Dr Beade, himself, to be extremely kind, caring, and professional. Dr Beade performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes with excellent results. I had the first eye done several years ago and Dr Beade waited until the second, eye was appropriately ready for cataract removal before moving ahead with a second surgery. Even though cataract surgery is a very straightforward routine procedure, he explained to me that until it was absolutely needed, he did not feel itwas my best interest to move ahead with the second surgery since any surgery, no matter how simple and routine, does have associated risks. I very much appreciated his professional judgment on this. I am happy to report that both procedures were very successful. I started wearing glasses at age 4, and now at age 72 no longer need to wear them for distance vision .Amazing!
