Thank y'all who build cars here, for saving the lives of 5 teenage boys. Toyota gets credit for engineering safety and consistent building protocols, but none of that matters if the people who manufacture the car don't do a good job. Let me tell you, you did a GREAT job! In 2025 y'all built a Camry LE Hybrid that was built so well it saved 5 young men from death, dismemberment and permanent injury. The other night, sitting at a stop light, I witnessed a 2025 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid get T-boned by a truck that was making a turn. The Camry was flying down the road and didn't see the truck. The truck struck the driver's side and shot the car across the intersection, when all of the sudden it clipped something, launching it in the air, spinning around sideways multiple times as it vaulted over a retaining wall and struck a large power pole which instantly stopped the Camry dead in its tracks upon impact. Within minutes, I watched three young, panicked men (teenage boys) climb out the rear passenger door, and two more climb out the sunroof. Every airbag deployed, the windshield and driver window were smashed, but the windshield remained intact (unlike some (other) manufacturer glass these days...), and despite an intense impact and force that would have otherwise split some cars in two or wrapped them around that power pole, the structure of the car did not budge. If you'd seen the accident, speed, force and impact you would have also been astonished that this car not only remained intact but didn't bow, bend or crumble! It was the mercy of God and incredible dedication to build quality and workmanship! Horrified, but amazed at this miracle of God, it occurred to me that if shoddy workmanship, careless processes, or employees who didn't care built this car, 5 young men would likely be dead, dismembered, paralyzed or permanently injured. But because y'all cared enough to build it right... to do a good job, the right way, 5 teenagers are alive today and were able to crawl out of that vehicle as if nothing happened.. by the grace of God Almighty. Thank y'all for the job you did building these people's car! (The license number allowed me to look up the factory that built it.) Way to go Toyota Motor Manufacturing GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY!!! God bless y'all and keep up the good work!

Great family tour! This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken, and it’s FREE…. Very up close and personal tour lineside next to the vehicles being produced. The museum area is also very insightful with hands on experiences throughout. Great tour for everyone young and old. This tour is done on a tram so no walking you can set relax and listen to the guide as they drive you throughout the production areas. When in Kentucky this is a must do!
Over the past 5 years its really starting to go downhill. The guys working the yard are great, unloads and loads are usually quick. But there is a serious communication problem between the offices and the yards. And the problem is the office. Waiting hours for confirmations that should have been complete before I ever arrived. They hold drivers hostages while they figure out what to do with their own pre planned loads. Its ridiculous, I get it happening a couple times. But this happens half the time im here now. What used to be 30 min is now a 4 hour ordeal. Y'all need to get it together.
This was my 3rd visit to this Toyota plant and I would say my most disappointing. Pros: Tram tour with headset, visited much of the plant, easy to hear guide. Cons: Tram was constantly moving and didn't really get to see what was happening. Told about stamping but didn't stop to see anything. Much of the plant seemed off limits. Conclusion: I brought 2 friends and kept telling them about the really great tour. They enjoyed the tour but not overly impressed. I spent most of the 3 hour trip home telling them about everything they missed.
Really enjoy the tour. Like seeing how they making cars. Lot of robots. Who going buy the vehicles if people got their jobs taking over buy robots. Just a thought.
