All of the staff was very friendly, especially the nurse and doctor! The nurse (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was super gentle too, especially since I am a huge baby with all things eyes and with having my face touched. The doctor explained everything very thorough so I could understand what was going on as well. Huge improvement compared to the previous clinic I had gone too, and will definitely be returning for future check ups/visits!

I have always had positive experiences with the optometrists here. They are thorough, caring, friendly, and provide clear instructions regarding treatment and follow-up care. However, my recent experience with one of the staff members who schedules appointments was less positive. When I called to schedule an eye exam for my son following an eye injury, I felt that I was frequently interrupted while trying to explain the situation and ask questions about his ongoing eye care needs. The interaction came across as rushed and not particularly welcoming. That said, when my son initially injured his eye, the office was able to get him in quickly, and the optometrist who treated him was excellent. They were thorough, compassionate, and explained everything clearly, which I greatly appreciated.

I noticed at my regular exam in May 2026 that the people working at Chester Eye Care were friendly and cheerful. They answered all of my questions and explained my results. I felt like they were willing to take the time necessary to do a good job. Wait time was minimal.

Staff was so nice and wonderful . Made you feel like family, then doctor was very nice, listened and answered question same as staff. If you want a good understand, caring doctor go to chester eye center in waverly, ohio. You will be so glad you did.

Dr. Chester and the ladies working with him are doing a great job! It’s easy to get an appointment, they’re quick to get your exam done, the equipment is clean, and the nurses, techs, and front office staff are friendly and efficient. They’re priced competitively too! Two thumbs way up!
