Cheyenne Vision Clinic

We had a potential eye-mergency. The staff was excellent. Facilities clean and orderly. Dr. Silver was very thorough and patiently explained clearly why things were alright. We have met more than half the doctors, and we love coming here, every single time! The doctors here are competent and caring and have helped us with everything from ordinary eye care to more rare diagnoses. Thank you, everyone at Cheyenne Eye Clinic!

We were very pleased with all the staff from the front desk to the Drs. Very professional and kind to us. Also upbeat which is very nice. The Drs explained everything to us in a way we could understand. But most of all we would like to commend Colter Ekstron. This man was so very kind and patient. While we were getting our glasses He explained every bit of the paperwork we were filling out and listened to our needs. He was professional and like a friend all at the same time. If he hasn't had a pay raise in a while he deserves one!! 😊

To start with i tried booking an appointment last year but that got canceled due to site issues and provider schedule changes I am not aware of when I booked an appt. I tried going in your website again to schedule an appointment but it led me to just calling. I called, gave my name, dob, contact number and the lady was able to find a slot for me. However, a day before my appointment, I got 2 missed calls from a Florida number and the Cheyenne Clinic number stating a confirmation/reminder of my appointment. I called back and after putting me on hold for 15 minutes, she finally asked for my name, date of birth and told me right away that I am not in their system and that no appointments were made for me at all. I reiterated that they called me and I was just calling back to confirm my appointment. She said there was nothing for me and I might have mistaken the clinic for someplace else. I asked if she could ask for help on my appointment because I am sure I have it and i got a message for the “promptly” app too. She said clinic did not call me and she cannot help me. I am not on the system or anywhere else there. Told her I am gonna call back again. I called them again and this time I told “Alicia” all my details and date of calls and promptly details.. and she was able to find my appointment. I asked for a bill estimate for my visit and she said it could get up to 200+. So everything was figured out. It seems. I am now done with the visit and paid 415.00 upfront. I felt like i have been taken advantage of at this point. There was no informed consent or bill estimate of what that amount was for. The eye doctors were great esp Dr. Hopkins! the lady (August) who did some testing on my eyes. Was niceand friendly. the two are 10/10! but the appointment system, frontline service, billing estimate are terrible.

We had a great experience the ladies at the check-in got us right through and the young lady that took us back and did the first round of testing was very knowledgeable and good at her job made us feel comfortable. My wife and I had separate appointments, but they made sure it took us back together that made it an enjoyable experience. We were seen by Dr. Hopkins. She was great. We will continue to ask for her when we go back. Highly recommend !

The whole process went smoothly. The Dr in training as well as the Dr provoding oversight were friendly, professional and thorough. First time going to another vision provider since moving to Cheyenne 25 years ago, and the experience was pleasantly seamless.
