Chicago Eye Center serves patients in Bellwood and the surrounding part of Illinois from its office at 4113 Saint Charles Rd. Both exams and glasses are handled here — exam rooms and an optical shop share the same address. Insurance accepted includes VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision and Superior Vision (12 plans in total). Care is provided by Erwin Cabela, OD. The optical carries 36 frame brands. I had a wonderful experience there. Dr. Cabela was wonderful and very friendly. He engaged with me like we were family and that made me very comfortable. Great eye doctor, the best I've experienced yet!!!!
Love this place. Dr. Cabelo is truly top-notch. The care is affordable, the staff is attentive and professional, and everyone is treated with respect. This center is a vital part of Chicago, the western suburbs, the entire community. They offer high-quality frames with an excellent selection, they accept insurance, and I received my glasses quickly. The difference they’ve made for me has been tremendous. Most importantly, the team really listens to your needs and makes sure you’re taken care of every step of the way. Highly, highly recommend this center for anyone looking for outstanding eye care and community-focused service. I am very impressed with this firm.
First off they suck…I’ve been calling every week for my glasses…I get like 50 excuses I’ve been waiting for my glasses for 1 whole crazy month and nothing…they said “WE WILL CALL YOU BACK”still no call back… it’s like excuse after excuse…then they tell me call back the glasses will be ready Thursday if not Monday we will have them ready and still I call Monday and they still don’t have my glasses and then say the kids are going back to school… NOT my problem I went in July for my eye exam and for my glasses still NOTHING…There good at taking money but can’t have your glasses ready when they say there supposed to.
Doctor Cabela was wonderful and his staff helped me choose stylish frames, as I am often clueless about what is in style! So now I can see well, in style.
Very nice and quick I broke my glasses and was able to get frames for a reasonable price.
