Childrens Medical Center - Plano

We had such an amazing experience at this location. My son was having 104 fever for 4 days and we took him to Dallas children’s location and was there for 5 hours for them to say he had pneumonia and told us to go home and told us fever is normal. We ended up having to take an ambulance to the plano location they got us in right away and they did such an amazing job the entire time. Got right to treating my son, and wasted no time. Listened to all of our concerns and each dr and nurse throughout the stay for a few days were all amazing. Registered Nurse christina , sarah, and megan were all so amazing and made the stay more at ease. They were on top of everything and came on time every hour to check on him. I would definitely recommend this location over the dallas location. They were all so kind and caring and took us very seriously despite us being young parents. My son had to spend his birthday at the hospital unfortunately and the nurses brought him gifts ! (minecraft legos, cats, and motorcycle) never experienced that before super grateful.

This hospital is amazing and they are great with kids making them feel comfortable and special. My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes, diagnosed at 6. She initially had to stay in the hospital for a week around Christmas. The staff/hospital go above and beyond!! She got a visit from Santa and a stuffed animal, she also had a visit from a therapy dog. Even though she was in there during Christmas they made it special. The endocrinologist are great! I can’t say enough about the staff and how informative, kind and knowledgeable. I would never choose any other hospital for my daughter! Thank you Children’s!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Children’s Medical Center Plano. From start to finish, the care my son received during his tonsillectomy and adenoid removal was truly exceptional. The nurses provided around-the-clock care, staying on top of his medications and carefully monitoring his oxygen levels to ensure he was always safe and comfortable. A special thank you to Nurses Tracy, Ari, and Gina—each of you went above and beyond with your kindness, attentiveness, and compassion. Dr. Ron Mitchell was absolutely amazing. His level of care, professionalism, and reassurance made such a difference for both my son and our family. The anesthesia team was also incredible—the anesthesiologist was so gentle and calming, helping ease my son’s nerves before surgery. I also want to recognize the nurses who placed his IV. They took extra time to keep him calm, explaining everything and even using numbing techniques to make the process easier for him. That level of patience and care meant so much. Every single person we encountered treated my son with compassion and respect. Thank you all for making a stressful situation so much easier. We are beyond grateful.

The staff were very kind, patient, and professional, and they made sure my daughter felt as comfortable as possible ❤️👧🏼. The facility was clean, organized, and welcoming, and we appreciated how helpful everyone was from check-in to the exam rooms 🏥✨. As a parent, it means a lot when medical staff take the time to explain things clearly and treat children with compassion. They did exactly that. ⭐ 5 stars — grateful for the care and support. Would absolutely recommend for pediatric testing or specialty care 🙏💛

Had a scare with our toddler who caught a bad stomach bug and couldn't hold food or water down. We took her here to be admitted for a night and the hospital staff service was impeccable. The nurses were amazing, the facility clean and new, security firm, and we were set up on the top floor overseeing all of the north side of Plano and Frisco. They took excellent care of our daughter, and while definitely not cheap, it was well worth the peace of mind! Would absolutely recommend!
