Got a battery today and got free installation with it. They took me ahead of schedule because they had an extra worker today, but it's hit and miss how long you can be there. The service manager is friendly, knowledgeable, and polite, and the supervisor, Fares, is a wonderful person who makes you feel valued. Contrast this with another auto shop, since the auto was the only part of Walmart I visited today, and right down the road an unnamed mister quoted me at 330 for a basic car battery. I might have been born at night, but not last night. Walmart was able to squeeze me in via the app and long story short, happy car makes for happy Luke.

Walmart: The Ultimate One-Stop Shop Walmart remains the undisputed giant of retail, offering an unparalleled level of convenience and affordability. For decades, its core promise of "Everyday Low Prices" has made it a foundational staple for households looking to stretch their budgets. The Pros: Variety and Value The primary appeal of Walmart is its sheer scale. Walking into a Supercenter gives you access to groceries, electronics, clothing, automotive services, and household essentials all under one roof. In recent years, Walmart has significantly upgraded its digital experience. The Walmart+ subscription program, curbside pickup, and home delivery services have modernized the brand, making it a formidable competitor to online giants like Amazon. For busy families, the ability to order groceries on an app and have them loaded directly into the trunk is a massive time-saver. The Cons: Consistency and Atmosphere However, the Walmart experience is not without its drawbacks. Customer service can be highly inconsistent. Shoppers frequently report long checkout lines, understaffed service desks, and inventory discrepancies where online availability doesn't match the physical shelves. Furthermore, the massive layout and chaotic, fast-paced environment of the stores can make in-person shopping feel stressful rather than enjoyable. The Verdict: Walmart is tough to beat if your primary goals are maximizing your budget and saving time by getting everything in one trip. While it may lack the curated, premium feel of higher-end retailers, its digital convenience and low prices ensure it remains an essential resource for modern consumers.

One star review for the bakery department. I go shopping at Walmart. All the time, employees are great, greetings are amazing, no complaints at all.. But I decided to use the bakery for my son‘s second birthday this weekend and they failed me at customer service.. I ordered a Moana cake to be picked up on Saturday. I called them at noon and they said that it was done and I could pick it up and I said OK perfect instead of 4 PM. I’ll be there now. My friend went and picked it up for me and brought it home. When I looked at it it was green. The image was not what it was supposed to be. It almost looks like when a printer starts to run out of a certain colors. It was just washed out and not OK. I called them right back maybe 15 minutes after he picked it up and said that the image was ruined can we fix this and she told me she’s too new so that she was going to ask a different coworker but she didn’t think anybody could do anything about it. So when I got my answer, I was very unhappy. I am still unhappy. She stated that they do not have time for me to fix my cake because they have too many orders to make, I told them I picked up my cake four hours before it was supposed to be picked up. What do you mean you don’t have time to fix the image that you guys messed up she stated “it’s probably because of the sun and you guys kept it out too long “, I responded with, if that was the case it should’ve been closed in so that it wasn’t exposed to the sun and outside or given us a warning about the cake being in the sun that it was going to ruin the image. But the way that the picture looked it was not from being in the sun for two minutes in the car and out of the car it’s not possible so I asked them. What do we do about this and they went you will have to fix it. we can print out a picture, my friend went back up there to grab a picture for me and he asked How to fix it since we’re doing it at home and their response was “you don’t know how to fix it. It’s not that hard to do “his respond back was well. I wouldn’t have to fix it if you guys would just take that time if it’s not that hard, you guys can correct it for us and be done with it since she paid a lot of money for her order and they just continued to say that he had attitude and that he needed to just leave and take the image. I have reached out Monday and I have reached out today and no manager has called and gotten back to me about the situation like I was told and that my Information was taken down and left for them, so I am very disappointed that nobody has gotten back to me to even acknowledge the situation that happened the other day. I am very ashamed of them and I will not be coming back for a bakery order from them since they do not know how to take responsibility of what happened and just fix it for me or just acknowledge me that I’m upset as a customer If you go to this Walmart, I would say everything‘s great except a bakery just keep an eye out. They won’t help you fix it. The images below show what it’s supposed to look like and what they gave it to me as

This Walmart is not usually stocked that well and the product selection is lackluster compared to other Walmarts. In general you will find most of what you need here and wont have to go elsewhere but again a better selection would be nice. I will say there order and go and home delivery are actually really good and the staff they have when you pick up groceries are top notch and very nice.

I was at this Walmart on West Ridgewood in Parma and if I could give it a zero I would I was in a regular checkout wrote out a check and the cashier put it in as cash. I was instructed that I had to go over to customer service to get it rung up again because of her air a manager came by a gentleman I believe his name was Gregory and took the cash from her drawer and carried it over to customer service . He then tried to rescan all of my items and it would not go through I was very irritated with the poor service and lack of knowledge from this manager so I left my shopping cart there and left the store I only had 10 items so I feel that since he took the cash out of the cashier's door and walked over to customer service to try to redo the transaction he was not very accommodating at all. I shopped there all the time and this is the first fiasco that I had to deal with I have other things that I had to take care of that day then to stand in two lines and waste almost 45 minutes. 🙄 If nobody at that location knows what they're doing then retrain your associates that was not a good experience at all
