06/06/2026 I liked the desk workers but the doctor (kupsc I think) I had was rude and said I didn’t need an updated prescription when I’m still having trouble seeing (I need to squint to see at times). I feel like I wasted nearly my whole afternoon to end up not needing help. He didn’t ask questions on anything or check my eye health. Just wrote the same prescription I have on my glasses and sent me away. I’m honestly sad it didn’t work out.

I will not be going back here. Paid for a contact fitting & eyeglasses. They recommended a certain brand & it took a month for the trials for my particular prescription. After trying them, within a month, i called to place an order. for a 6 month supply it was $635... never heard of such a thing. & I have been getting glasses & contacts for 25 years. I asked it we could go with a cheaper brand & they told me since its been 2 months that Id have to pay another contact fitting fee for $125 or $150 i forget which. Absolute robbery. Now, im being billed 4 months later for 2 appointments that were denied by insurance, not reprocessed by them, and they cant give me any information on why they were denied claiming theres no EOB or information. She said to call my own insurance. I worked in insurance for a long time & ive never heard of a business(that does their own billing) that does not reprocess claims or have EOB information. Scam of business

Extremely poor customer service at LensCrafters (City Eye location: 249 Hartford Ave Space A170, Bellingham, MA 02019). On 3/10/26, I waited over 2 hours for assistance. The optician could not complete my order because he had questions about my prescription, so I had to leave and planned to return. When I came back on 3/14/26, I waited over 4 hours just to have measurements taken for my glasses. When I asked about the delay, the manager, Janae, responded rudely and said that if I couldn’t wait, I could leave. There was no apology and no effort to help or reschedule. After two visits and several hours of waiting, I felt my time and business were not valued. I will be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend this location. I hope corporate management reviews the service at this location and addresses these customer service issues.

Dr. Youssef is excellent, but the staff managing appointments need some help. My appointment was also accidentally cancelled when the staff meant to cancel my daughters’ appointment. When visited recently, the staff member couldn’t answer a question regarding insurance, then obviously got the answer wrong as I pointed out that it didn’t make sense. I will need to take my business elsewhere. Eye City - you can only be as good as the staff are. Please do better.

Super prompt & fast so I could get back to work. I started bringing my son here as well, very fast but personable.
