Dr. Nguyen, Derrick, and all the lovely ladies are so welcoming! As a nurse it’s always tough to attend my appointments. As the last appointment of the day I did not feel rushed and they are incredibly thorough! The nurses carefully helped me through the tests even though my eyes kept blinking. They are so patient and helpful! I forgot the name of the last nurse but she was nice enough to help me find glasses that would suit me best! 10/10 would recommend this place to my family and friends!

I’ve been going to Clairemont Optometry for almost 2 years and I’m very happy I made the switch. I’m 47 years old with double digit negative vision. Doctor Bruce Nguyen isa myopia expert. He took great care and went over every options to help me see better and stabilize my eyesight. He was very patient and really cared for his patients. I had many follow up visits to make sure my lens were right for me. He ultimately proscribed the SCLERAL LENSES for my special eyes Corneal conditions called Corneal Ectasia . His office is very clean and include all the high end technology including Anterior Seg OCT for scleral lenses and also custom scleral lens measurenet machine for 4K vision. Now my whole family goes there and my son who’s 11 yo’s is getting treated for his myopia condition. His staff is polite, very professional and well trained. The team is incredibly knowledgeable about specialized eye treatments, and they take the time to explain every step of the process. ​Dealing with keratoconus can be a challenge, but this was one of my best medical experiences. They provided a very fast turnaround, and it feels incredible to finally have my eyesight back. The facility is modern, and the doctors truly prioritize long-term vision health , also Shout out to all the staff as well for the patience on how long it took me to put my contacts on lol 🤣

This is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had! Dr Nguyen is super friendly, very informative and helpful in making decisions about your eye care. I have blue eyes that are sensitive and he’s been very supportive and helpful in maintaining my eye health.
