Clarity Eyecare PC (Dr. Paul Bingham, OD) - inside Pearle Vision

Highly recommended Pearle Vision franchise intersection of Emerald St and Cole Rd in Boise. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Bingham is attentive and explains medical concepts and options clearly. Location is bright, modern, and comfortable. This is my go-to for basic vision needs like exams and glasses.

Crazy outrageously expensive. Unwilling to match competitor prices. After having an eye exam and then liking some Oakley Frames, and being quoted over $250 in store for the frames at Pearle Vision in Boise, I looked online and through EZ Contacts found the same item for $122.78. (Less than half price). I was told from the manager that I was welcome to purchase the frames elsewhere and they would still make and install lenses for me. When my frames arrived I went in (today) and was now informed that I would have to pay an extra $25 fee for using my Frames. She tried to explain it as an extra time cost for using my frames because they had to take extra time being careful... B.S. I already had to sign a release of liability in case they break them). I feel taken advantage of, being over charged for no reason that justifies the charge and plan to file a complaint. I already signed a release of liability, the company already utilizes these frames (so why the upcharge)? Why the 100 percent markup on frames? MONEY MONEY MONEY ! this is not a company that cares about its customers it only cares about generating excessive profits. I will not come back to this company again.

This Pearle Vision office runs very smoothly...check in on time, (no waiting). Dr. Bingham conducted a thorough exam and clearly explained eye issues also making helpful suggestions for eye care. I was assisted picking out new glasses by Connie who gave exceptional service with a most pleasant personality. My first visit, but not my last. I highly recommend this business.

Ainsley is a rockstar! We got exceptional service from her. She is super knowledgeable, very polite and was helpful with my questions. My wife and I had one of the best experiences in buying our glasses. In the past we have used Eyemart and other places but after this experience we will be coming back next year again. Ainsley deserves a raise!

Ainsley was the most knowledgeable optican tech. She answered all my husband's questions about progressives. We were there for 2 hours and purchased 4 pairs of glasses. The only suggestion would to expand their selection of Oakley glasses.
