Clarkson Eyecare - Butler Hill

I’ve been wearing glasses for nearly 40 years and this is by far my best experience I’ve ever had with an optometrists. He was patient and thorough with his exam and made great recommendations for new eye wear based on my occupation. The staff was equally as amazing! I received advice and recommendations based on my narrow nose bridge for new glasses that actually fit comfortably. When the glasses arrived, the staff was patient in making sure that I was fit comfortably and happy with how they felt on my face. I cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone at Clarkson Eye Care Center for the amazing care they took of my wife and I.

Exam was 3/9/26 at Butler Hill location. Glasses did not hold adjustment. The reading line was off, they had to redo lenses. When I picked them up there were 2 right side lenses in them. Still did not hold adjustment, even after the Dr. adjusted them. Took to another location and a tech noticed hinge was faulty. They replaced frame, but not same color I chose. I went to yet another location yesterday 6/1/2026 for adjustment and one side sits lower than other. Maybe a 4th location will get it correct? I have to deal with this for 9 more months. I do not recommend them at all!

I received a bill 12 MONTHS after visiting and paying-in-full my obligation for two pairs of glasses. When I called to inquire, the billing person said it was for “lenses” and could offer no further explanation. This is completely unacceptable and I would advise caution when dealing with this location.

The staff treated my granddaughter with professionalism and respect. She was anxious about the visit but was soon put at ease.

Allison at Clarkson Eye Care was so helpful with my emergency and showed what customer care is all about! I damaged my eyeglasses over the holiday weekend and needed a repair asap. She took care of it quickly and was sooo friendly! Thank you!
