Clarkson Eyecare - Coventry

The actual doctor is wonderful, the brand new front desk staff however is another story. They are incompetent, rude and extremely lazy. Additionally, extremely unprofessional, you don’t cancel someones confirmed appointment because you decided not to do your job. Clarkson Eyecare as a company has been a nightmare to deal with. I will certainly not be recommending this location specifically or this company to anyone ever again, absolutely vile. No wonder they can’t keep proper staff.

Took time off work for the appointment. Completed all paperwork including a copy of my insurance before the appointment. Completed exam picked out frames to be told they don't accept my insurance. They also said they wouldn't " charge" me for the exam and were sorry. Incompetence at its finest. I wouldn't have been so upset if I hadn't literally sent a copy of my insurance.

The friendliest staff I have ever been around at an eye care facility. Highly recommend. At the check in window I was greeted with a smile and a wonderful receptionist who made all of the paperwork a breeze. The assistant was incredibly kind and very good at keeping a conversation while working. When I was seen by my doctor which took exceptionably little time, she was quick, very good at what she does. Explained everything to me which made me understand my vision issues so much better. Best eye doctor around. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Akron/Canton area.
