The doctors are amazing, but unfortunately the front office staff is completely incompetent. 6 months after our visits we started receiving bills even though we had receipts for our co-payments that were made. My mother received a bill for over $700 because the office staff simply did not turn it into the insurance company at all. I have been trying to get billing errors resolved for over 5 months and I keep getting the runaround and no one will call me back. They flat out lie when they say that they called. They don't realize that today's phones can track every single call that comes in and I can confirm that they aren't calling me back. I get partial answers and then no other follow-up for weeks until I reach out to them again. My son bought a pair of glasses there and they didn't fit right and needed adjusting. The clerk broke the frames and then said it wasn't her problem and that he would need to buy a new pair. They finally agreed to find him another frame like the one they broke but he was then without any glasses for 2 weeks.

Everyone is very very nice and I’ve been going to the same place for my entire life. However, I really wish there was a disclaimer on the retinal exam cost prior to the appointment to give you a chance to pass and just have your eye dilated.
The ladies are amazing at the front desk! My son's glasses got stepped on and needed to be fixed. Super nice and helpful. Thank you again. ( ;
Not a fan of this location. My wife went and ordered glasses. A month ago. That’s right it took a whole month for them to come in. We called after a week and they said “oh we forgot to order them”. Uh ok. Each week we would call. Nothing. Today we called. They said oh they came in yesterday, didn’t you get our text. No. There was no text. Just a very frustrating experience. We will go elsewhere from now on.
I really tried to give Clarkson the benefit of the doubt, but after several instances of terrible customer service, I just can't. I have had numerous issue with this practice over the years. For instance, this year, I called to reschedule my annual eye exam because I was going to be out of town. When I called the main number, I was routed to a call center, not the local office. I asked to reschedule my annual eye exam, but apparently they scheduled me for a "medical check." I didn't realize that until I arrived for my appointment. They wouldn't do my exam and made me reschedule again. I also needed them to remake my glasses three times before I could see out of them. To top it all off, I received a bill 6+ months after my appointment. It turns out they told me I had insurance coverage for new glasses but I didn't. That made my bill $300+ more than I was expecting. I called the main line twice, left two messages, and have not received any callback. I also called the local office and left a message, but have not heard back. My advice: avoid Clarkson and switch to a local eye doctor immediately!
