AVOID THIS PRACTICE – I was refused service after arriving for my appointment because of an unpaid bill (only 1 month old) that was sprung on me at the door. I didn’t recall seeing the bill and mentioned that maybe the bill was lost in the mail or accidentally misplaced. REGARDLESS, they sent THREE separate reminders about my appointment, NONE of which mentioned anything about my unpaid balance or their policy of not seeing a patient with an outstanding balance. So I wasted an hour of my time and off of work for them to THEN spring this on me once I was already at their office. I obviously wanted to review the bill before paying, especially since it included items from 2 YEARS AGO.
Fine, policies exist… But the fact that they let me get all the way to the office AFTER 3 confirmations is ridiculous. I obviously asked if they could make an exception, which was relayed to Dr. V, of which he still would not allow an exception. They hid behind this policy and the fact that they are a small business, however, a truly caring and respectable small business would realize their mistake and be willing to treat their customer accordingly.
If you value your time, money, and basic transparency, do not waste your effort with this business. There are plenty of other practices in the area that treat their patients fairly and with respect.

Nowhere did I claim the bill was fabricated. All of my statements are factual, and I obviously am still working on getting details from my insurance on services from TWO YEARS AGO that you waited to bill just now, but are now somehow expecting me to pay immediately without review. As is even more clear by the unapologetic and immature response, this is clearly a place to avoid if you want some sort of basic decency and reasonableness.
