My initial visit was fine. When I picked up my contacts I noticed I couldn't see my phone very well. So after a few days I went back in and asked if the prescription was correct. They said the doctor only measured for distance and not multi vision. Then I was told I would have to reorder new ones if I wanted multi vision. So I sent almost $400 and my vision is worse than it was when I went in. I'm not planning on ever going back.

Great staff and good eye exam. Outrageous prices for eyeglasses. Two pair with two insurances came to $997.00. I went to Americas best and got almost exact same two pairs for under $300.
Doctor and tech were fine. Front desk staff, Selena (who had a sticker on her forehead in a "professional" setting), was lacking in any form of patient care from checking me in to dispensing my trial contacts. When I asked for a starter kit of solution she said they only sell them. I was in this business for 20 years, if they are not giving new patients solution for their contacts this is a poor standard of care. There is more but by reading all the previous comments it's evident what the problem is here. If corporate hasn't handled it, they probably are not planning to.
The staff is amazing and is the best that you can ask for. They talk with you about any concerns and any questions that you may have. They really do care about your comfort and the way that you see and think of things. I would refer anyone to Clarkson. The exam , the details and the prices are unbeatable when it comes to quality.
Clarkson Eyecare is included in my current Medicare front-end insurance, so it's my go-to place since I came of age. The location in Maryland Heights is a favorite. Between the really pleasant front-office staff and the meticulous attention I get from Dr Jessica Laffoon, my last visit this past Tuesday was excellent.
