Clemson Eye

I got my LASIK done a week ago at the Greenville location and I couldn’t recommend them more. Everything was absolutely great from start to finish. Because I live in Columbia, they were able to accommodate my follow ups in the Newberry location since it’s closer to me but what a terrible experience so far. My appointment was at 9:45am and right now it’s 11:12 am and I’m still in the seating area waiting to see the doctor and it looks like there are others in front of me which indicates it will still take a while. *Edit* I got to see the doctor around 11:28 and checked out at front desk at 11:36am! Doctor apologized for the wait and said it was a crazy day! He was nice and answered all my questions! I have another follow up appointment in a month! I’ll see how it goes!

Everyone is unfailing kind and professional, explaining each step of my examinations and encouraging questions. I feel my eye health is in the very best hands and appreciate that Clemson Eye offers such a high level of care in our smaller town.”

I really love the people here! However, I will say that they need more staff or they need to schedule differently. It is not unusual to wait an hour to an hour and a half for an appointment when you come back for a recheck. My appointment was at 8:30. At 9:30 or 9:45 I asked what the holdup was because I had a ride waiting for me. They did finally get me back but the doctor took like 2 minutes to speak with me. For the money that I paid, I would have at least like to have spoken them for 5 minutes. The surgery center is outstanding and I do feel that I have gotten outstanding care for my cataracts. I will be returning here with a family member to start the process again and would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully they can correct the timing issue

Dr. Patel and the staff at Clemson Eye are excellent! They are always courteous, friendly, and professional. I can always count on them getting me in quickly if I have an issue going on with my eyes. If you’re looking for a new place for eye care, I would definitely recommend Clemson Eye in Newberry.

Today was my first visit here at Clemson Eye and it was a positive experience. The staff were all very professional, attentive, and friendly. Gina went above and beyond in my opinion. She is very personable, helpful and made me feel good about my choices..
