Dr. Dickerson is absolutely fabulous! But my husband and I both have experienced communication issues with this practice. Gone are the days of Dr. Stafford and Branch. Since they became a corporate practice, all of the wonderful employees (Alisha & Joel especially) have left and the communication has gone downhill! I leave messages and don't get return phone calls, which means I have to remember to call them back. I am fine with email or texts. I am not picky about the means of communication, I just would like to know what is going on when I need contacts, trials, etc.

Hello again My real name is Jeffrey Medvec that is a real photo of me. I have been a patient of this office for years. I have been seen by Dr.Stafford, I received my eye exams there and I would travel to Spartanburg to Wilkins Opticians for safety glasses since your office does not handle that. I try to shop as locally as i can. Owner, your staff made mistakes my original glasses did not transition to sunglasses, The Ray bans sunglasses in question that i have so far paid over $450.00 for, first came with the wrong prescription. I would like to add that I have never been given a bill or receipt from your staff other than the one I posted showing that I have a balance of $00.00 . I did go back into the office after you replied to my first rating and I was not presented with a bill or an explanation . Again I would like my glasses or a refund maybe it is worth it to you to lose a customer over whatever amount of money you say I owe. As for me I learned an about $450 lesson.1] always get a receipt , and 2] dont be so concerned about shopping locally. It is my opinion that since your employees made mistakes which is fine we all do. I should be given my glasses or a refund. Go ask some friends what they think you should do. So after 2years I got a great exam from my precious Dr Maria. Then I selected a Betsy Johnson pair of frames. They arrived a week earlier. 2nd day I returned for a tighten and adjustment on her arms to snuggle up around my ears. Front desk Alexis is friendly and has a great happy personality. To the try on desk jasmine was helpful to adjust. Now there is no slipping on my nose and fell super around my ears. I gave her a hug and called her a magician. This office is A+ in the book of Ann!

I have been trying to get glasses for a few months in went there on 3/27 /26 to pay off the balance and I was told they needed to measure my eyes , where the use a marker on glasses ( this after the glasses were ordered) today I went to pick them and I was told I owe approximately $160. Here is a photo of my paperwork showing I have $0.00 balance. Ever since they changed staff which now is often this place is awful. I was tempted to walk out with my glasses today. One more thing you can't even get a refund on glasses you never walked out with. Hire some men again we are at least organized. And scrolling on our phones. I would like my money back or my glasses not some useless apology !!!!! Oh I forgot the time i was to get glasses that transitioned to sunglasses, and they had to be returned because I didn't get what I paid for. But I do have them now.

The desk staff seem great but the optometrist working here is incompetent and unorganized. I had my eye exam here several weeks ago where they misidentified the prescription of my right eye. During that appointment I was maid to wait 20+ minutes from initial procedure with a technician to when the doctor arrived at my room. The evaluation seemed rushed and I received the wrong prescription as a result. Today I am back to get my prescription fixed, kudos to the staff for getting this setup to fix the error, but again I have waited 20+ minutes to be seen. I hope I receive a more accurate prescription this time around but I definitely will not be returning to this office for future glasses. I encourage others to visit one of the other eye doctors in Newberry and save yourself the hassle. Edit for timeline after the appointment: I was scheduled for an appointment at 8:40am, arrived at 8:40am, was seen by the techs at ~8:50am, finished being evaluated by the techs by ~9:05am at the latest, waited in patient room and was seen by Dr. Karen Wint at ~9:45am, left the office at 10:05am.
