Terrible office staff. They are impossible to get a hold of or to get service from unless you are standing in front of them. They don't answer the phone nor return voice mail. They rely on an automated messaging system which either doesn't work or they ignore. My wife requires specialized contacts and have called and left messages for the last weeks and is unable to get a response. I couldn't get an appointment without driving up there to schedule in person. No apologies, no customer service, instead just excuses. Office full of young women but no one actually knows how to work in the service business. Except the glasses lady, she's good. Might be just us but when I walk in, it never looks like anyone is doing much.

Incredible eye care! They don't even do traditional dilation! They do a different way to look at the inside of your eye and test pressure! So less side effects :) And no sunglasses needed! They also let me have my glasses prescription on paper so I can get my glasses online! They were very helpful with making sure I had the whole prescription written down.
So this was the nearest optometry office that would take kids by me -- so we made an appointment, got there 15 minutes early and were helped by the front desk who were very nice! They were able to check us in and verify insurance super quick! The reason for the two stars is because unfortunately, the actual important factors were lacking -- I'm ASSUMING we saw 'Dr. Hamrick' but I could 't even tell you because the man didn't even introduce himself or exchange pleasantries at all -- mind you, I was there with and for my five year old. He was anti-sympathetic and had no "bedside manner," so I was left shocked when he immediately said my daughter had astigmatism only by running one test. When I did ask him questions, he answered me in a short and dry manner and refused to look up from his screen to address me and frankly, it came off as a microaggression. The woman who sells the glasses also was very dismissive and seemed 'bothered' by me and led us wrong when she asked me to pick glasses from behind her since my insurance would not have covered it, which the original front desk girl did let me know about. Seems to be a disorganized office. I ended up asking for my daughter's PD along with her prescription and it was as if I asked her for her social security number -- I basically had to pry it out of her. Will definitely look for a better opinion elsewhere.
This is a first! I did not have to complete any paperwork upon my first visit to this clinic! Unheard of! Not only that, but I didn't get a robo text. I requested to opt out without knowing whether they did it or not. Whenever I've opted out before somewhere else, I still get them. I detest them. They took my information over the phone, but it was just the typical amount. I didn't have to sign anything when I got there. I just gave them my insurance card. They were friendly, helpful, and I got back with a technician within just a few short minutes. After she was finished, the doctor followed not that long afterwards. When there was an issue with my Blue Cross Blue shield flex card, rather than charging me at that time, they gave me an opportunity to contact my insurance company to get it straightened out. Most places are going to demand payment. I will be contacting them tomorrow after finding out what the problem was. It was a very pleasant experience. Even the doctor was pleasant, open-minded, kind and thoughtful. I hate going to medical practitioners. This was a rare experience. I wish all my appointments were like that. I only wish I had discovered them years ago.
I was in the area for a visit, and the silicone nose pad on my glasses broke off. I was not a customer of Cleveland Eyecare, but they looked at my glasses, fixed them, and cleaned the lenses. If I ever need to find a new eye care professional, I'll definitely come here with my business. Thanks very much Thanks again for your quick, professional service.
