Clompus Reto and Halscheid Vision - West Chester

Good customer service, friendly doctors during our annual eye checkup visit. We were running 15 minutes late and called the front desk to inform them and they were fine. Locating the suite within this huge building will be a challenge. They have enough parking but shared. They are upper level and I don't see an elevator maybe I missed it.

The best doctors around. If you care about your eye health, go here and see either Dr. Reto or Dr. Halscheid (Clompus is retired). The staff are also super nice and no better opticians to help with materials/frames, etc. I've been going here for years.

Great Doctor, Dr Halscheid! Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I am hoping to leave an excellent review in the future if they resolve the worst transitionstional eyeglass prescription I ever have had. Going on a third try for the prescription! They are more than willing to help, I really need my glasses and don’t like the waste of time waiting on new prescription fix. I’ve had transitionals for over 20 years, never had a problem with the new prescription from other optometrist. They attempted to fix the lenses, but they still do not work. I am now wearing my old lenses from a different provider and can read perfectly clear in them, Instead of finding a real solution, the staff blamed my age and dry eyes, telling me to just go buy a pair of readers. I am very disappointed with this lack of accountability and would not recommend them.

From the doctors to the opticians Bob and Casandra, they are the best. They’re wonderful caring people that can be trusted with our care and always have been!!!

Dr Reto is a kind and extremely competent practitioner, a throwback to when physicians spent time with and listened to their patients. And that comes without sacrificing modern technology during screening and in the treatment room. His ancillary staff is similarly kind and efficient. Kudos to Sam who took my retinal photos.
