Cohen'S Fashion Optical

I always believe in giving second chances. But I now know I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere now. This is the height of utterly and ridiculously disgusting. But I now am resorting to other optical places for my business next time. I have been going to cohen for years now. And I keep getting disappointment after disappointment. Excuses after excuses, this has to stop. Could you believe I have been called and made a 2pm appointment at Jersey garden mall location. They never kept my appointment. Not only that, after I went through all the test and seeing the doctor. When was time to choose frames and payment, and letting the persons behind the counter know what I am requesting for my glasses. They don’t listen to your needs of request. It’s like they just trying to sell you the frames and that’s it. Cohens optical y'all can do better than this. Proper hospitality should be dealt with on a more strategic manner. Other than chasing the money from paying customers. Just imagine on 08/25/2025 I visited this place. And made a full payment for my glasses. Daniel then told me within 10-14 days I will have my glasses. It’s going into 3 weeks now. And when I call, Daniel making excuses that the optician is on vacation. Like really??????? I feel as though these people at cohens don’t really care for the customers. What a shameful shame!!!!

The Cross County location lied about my insurance coverage and forced me into expensive glasses. They also gave me a prescription for progressives that I didn't need. I got a second eye test and the doctor said I have no need for progressives. They are just concerned about money and not the eye health of patients. Since no corporate doesn't take calls and the Yonkers location won't give me a refund I will be filing complaints with all the applicable parties.

Got robbed in the Wayne store. Contacted customer service twice now. Received email that someone would contact me in 24 hours.... never happened. Bunch of crooks. Buy literally anywhere else!! Edit: emailed corporate multiple times with no response. My glasses from Wayne NJ were giving me migraines. Turns out they measured the PD wrong and the glasses didn't even match what they measured. Letting my lawyer handle it now.

Have been going to Cohen Optical for years however the last few years their quality of frames are terrible. I purchased glasses 2 months ago and today one of the arms came off. I was told they couldn't fix it so I would have to purchase new ones. I walked out and will never step foot into a Cohen's again.

Bring Cartier glasses , to fix on aprox April 15 2023. Today June 17 , no news. They told me 2 wks is been 3 month this is Quality of Service
