Cohen'S Fashion Optical

I never thought I could love an eyeglass shop but Cohen’s in Riverhead is next level. They are consistently the kindest and most helpful and the frames / lens high quality. Tonight Latoya helped me and my 10 year old daughter through our exams and frame selection…..she was so genuinely, kind, helpful and patient as we tried on literally every frame in the store. I couldn’t be happier with the care & attention and highly recommend coming here for all your optical needs! Thanks Latoya!!!

Let me set the stage. I am on the wrong side of 50 and just found out I need glasses. There is about a half dozen places in Riverhead for eyeglasses. So not knowing anything, I head to Cohen's Fashion Optical because it is a name I have known for decades. It did no go so smooth at first, but it was mostly my fault for well, not knowing anything about eye ware and how it should fit and progressive lenses. But, this is the key and why I gave a easy 5 stars. It's the people that work there, more like a family then a retail shop. Sure there was some stand out associates but it was really a team effort. They did everything to make things happy for my eyes. And that made me one very happy customer. I am sure if you go there, you too will be a happy customer.

Bought my glasses there about 4 years ago. This New Year's day (1/1/26). I heard a small *pop* as I was reading. I looked over my glasses and didn't see anything wrong. I heard another small *pop*, then another. Suddenly, the lens on the right side dropped off the half frames. My glasses were in pieces. The shop was closed on New Year's, so I wore an old pair of glasses and made sure I came in to the store early the next day. They were packed. Even with the 20 or so customers, I was seen quickly. I showed my broken glasses to the service lady and described what happened. The gentleman next to her said he knew what exactly had happened and he could fix it; just give him a minute. The filament that held the lens in had snapped. It happens and is easy to fix. My glasses were fixed in under 5 minutes and they wouldn't take any money for the repair. Everyone was understanding and helpful. The glasses are a little pricey, but the customer service is impeccable.

I highly recommend Cohen’s in Riverhead! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Anthony was wonderful! I Was just a walk-in and I needed a pair of glasses fixed and he fixed them perfectly.!!! I would definitely do business with them again
