The 5 stars is for Gio Gio’s customer service was amazing. She was helpful, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt taken care of. Unfortunately, when Gio wasn’t there, my experience was completely different.” When I called to check if my daughter’s glasses were ready, I was told, “If you don’t get a call, they’re not ready,” without anyone even checking. Turns out they were actually ready, but nobody took the time to look into it. Gio was amazing. She explained the one year warranty on my daughter’s glasses and that if they broke the first time, they would help fix them. Because of that, I felt comfortable purchasing a second pair, especially with the 50% discount Gio offered. Unfortunately, 4 days later my daughter accidentally broke the new pair at her graduation. I came back because she is leaving for vacation Saturday and I bought the backup pair specifically so she would have glasses while away. The experience after that was completely different. The Black female employee working there were very rude and dismissive. I was given the runaround and told Gio couldn’t have told me that and that it wasn’t true. I was also told they couldn’t help me because Gio wasn’t there and wouldn’t be back until Friday. I explained that I needed assistance now, but I was not treated with the same care and respect that Gio gave me. My advice: if Gio isn’t there, don’t expect the same customer service. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not recommend this place.
