Just had a really great experience at Cohen’s Fashion Optical on W 42nd St 👓✨ Sometimes it can be hard to find places that make the process easy—but this location was honestly awesome. The registration staff at the eye doctor’s desk were super kind, welcoming, and easy to work with. Paul and the ladies at the register were especially helpful and friendly, making the whole check-in process smooth from the moment I walked in. The sales team was wonderful too—Alex in particular was fantastic. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all, which I really appreciated. It made choosing frames a comfortable and easy experience. The doctor was patient, thorough, and took the time during the exam to make sure everything was right. The best part is the convenience and accessibility. Instead of waiting 3–4 months for an appointment at a medical clinic, you can actually get an eye exam and glasses much faster here. It really helps people who rely on limited vision insurance like Medicaid get the care and glasses they need without a long delay. I was assisted by Ingrid, who was very knowledgable and helpful with my questions, concerns. She walked me through the exam process, helped choose what I think are now my favorite new frames. She navigated my insurance coverage to get the highest contribution possible. Due to Ingrid I was able have my new frames, new lens on existing frames made ready in record time. I am definitely recommending this Cohen Optical, ask for Ingrid, she is the best .

Amazing, seamless, service. The initial eye exam felt like an easy 1 2 3! All of the staff are welcoming, warm, and inviting. The store atmosphere has a very cozy energy, whilst signing papers or awaiting an exam. They waste no time and have excellent communication attributes. I do believe it is the staff that make the place feel and look the way it does! Recommended, especially of you're looking for an easy exam and optimal service. 👌

I went with my mom to get new glasses and the whole staff here was amazing. Ingrid and May were especially helpful in helping me pick out my new glasses. They addressed all of my concerns and went above and beyond. They were supportive and patient and made the experience so much better. Thank you to the whole team as well for such a great experience.
