Amazing first experience. I needed a new place to get my eye exam and new contacts. The optometrist patiently explained to me that I had a bit of astigmatism (which I have always suspected I had) and gave me the option to get contacts to let me see clearer. And I Iove it! Also, the woman at the counter was also so kind, patient and understanding! Will be coming back. I was in such a rush to get through my day, I wish I got their names! 🤦‍♀️

*Everyone was super helpful at this store. Many options available for frames and lenses. The doctor that did my eye exam was thorough, took her time and was friendly. *I felt some attitude/ judgement when I was not sure about my insurance and keeping my old frames. There was confusion for the pricing of the frames at the end, which got sorted. The person that helped me fit my frames was not nice.

Terrible customer service. Went here for a more convenient location and was quoted an eye exam for 5x the rate I pay typically. When I explained that I typically only pay a copay of $30, the price was suddenly dropped $50, but still quite high. Management spoke to staff poorly as well during my time there. Would not recommend.

I hadn’t been to a Cohens Optical for some time. I visited the location in Bay Terrace and had a great experience. The exam was very thorough, and quick. The person helping me behind the counter was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and kind. I got a very good deal on glasses and Contacts. Glad I came back to Cohens. Highly recommend visiting.

I would give this store 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Cohens in Bayside NY is a one of a kind store of caring professionals. Cara and her team will greet you with not only thoughtfulness and patience but also humor as well. The store had the best variety of frames for different shape faces and more, espcially for petite folks. I didn’t have to buy kid frames! Cara also works with a range of health insurances so no need to worry about that! Thank you Cara and team for being a professional in eyewear that will absolutely make folks, like me, return over time (even if I have to travel long distance again)! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
