I love this place. The staff Jay, Simone . Leslie and Hector are unmatched. Best optical shop I ever been to. They are reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for good quality eyeglasses. As someone with a high prescription, it’s hard to find good affordable glasses. I was able to applied my insurance benefits. They will show you what’s good for your prescription. My lenses came out very thin and most importantly I can see!!! I’m very happy to have been referred by a friend. They are the best!

Jay attended to my needs very respectfully and addressed my concerns patiently in a timely manner while explaining the process to me. He really spent time with me and helped me with my purchase. Kudos to such a fine customer oriented gentleman. He has made me a Cohens customer for life…

I had an appointment for today at 11am received confirmation and reminders to show up today to see it is closed. There were no notifications about them being closed just listed as different store hours on Google and even says it is open now. I understand it is Easter, but not everyone is closed and a heads up yesterday would have been great rather than an appointment reminder. Unacceptable.

Update from my previous post: I'm changing my review to 5 stars. The manager (Simone B.) of Cohens Optical reached out to me after reading my review. She was very professional, polite and courteous. She was kind enough to explain to me that her staff wasn't familier with the insurance process. I agreed to come back. Simone helped my daughter and granddaughter. We left very pleased. If your in need of any kind of eyewear, please visit Cohens Optical in the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers.Thank you Simone for all your help.
