I had an excellent experience during my visit. From the moment I walked in, Nina at the front desk was welcoming and professional, setting a positive tone right away. The staff member who provided my quote was incredibly kind, patient, and informative, making the entire process smooth and comfortable. A special thank you to Dr. Chavez for the outstanding care and professionalism. I truly appreciate the level of service and attention I received from the entire team. Highly recommend!

After 15 years with our previous provider, we switched here due to insurance changes and it has been a massive disappointment. Our first visit was poorly managed, slow, and the staff was dismissive of our time. To make matters worse their pricing is significantly higher than other retailers, nearly double, and they offer no flexibility. The final straw was today. My son who is an existing patient and has paid for services, went in because he was down to his last contact lens and needed a single trial pair to bridge the gap until his order arrived. They flatly denied him. stating that because we didn't order the full supply through them, he wasn't eligible for a trial pair. Leaving a patient unable to see over a single disposable lens is money hungry behavior and clearly shows they do not have the patient's best interest at heart. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
Dr Chavez messed up and doesn’t apologize for her mistake! I’ve been a long time patient here since Dr Perea-Maes. I went for my annual checkup for contacts and was given a free sample of contact lens solution. Dr Chavez showed me 2 different ones and I told her as long as it’s for sensitive eyes. That evening I took my contacts out and was out of my multi purpose solution so I used the one Dr Chavez just gave me. It had a weird basket case but thought that was something new. I’m 64 and have worn soft contacts for over 30 years. The next morning when I put my contacts on my eyes they burned so bad I could not hardly remove my contacts. I thought maybe I had left hand soap on hands. I bought saline and flushed my eyes all weekend. I couldn’t wear my contacts and my eyes looked they were on fire. On Monday morning I made a Doctor appointment with my primary and mentioned it to my mother who was with me at the contact lens appointment. When I told my mom what happened she told me it was the complementary solution they gave me. I told her what do you mean and she said Dr Chavez gave her the same one. It had hydrogen peroxide in it. She used to wear hard contacts and she said it was for cleaning lenses not a multipurpose solution like they usually give me. I was shocked this happened with an Eye Doctor I trusted. Really you say you have sensitive eyes and they give you “Clear Care Plus” 3% hydrogen peroxide! I called the doctor’s office and was told didn’t you notice the red cap? I’ve never in 30 years been given or told about a red cap. Dr Chavez called me and accused me of telling her I’ve used this solution before. My mom confirmed that I said I need sensitive eyes assuming I was being given a multi purpose solution like I’ve been given for the last 30 years. Yes I should have read the bottle but my mistake I thought I had a Doctor I could trust, knew my history and would apologize for the error and miscommunication!
They honor our Second Amendment rights!!! Historically, this place has had Friendly knowledgeable staff. It's also been a busy place, but the wait was reasonable. For some reason today, the scheduling process was disorganized and the service unreliably slow. We made an appointment for sports glasses because they told us they could make them over the phone. When we got there, checked in, & waited for 10 minutes, a polite gentleman working there told me they don't make those. Wha? We asked them to fax my records to Accent on Vision & it took them ALL day long to do it even though they said they could do it in less than an hour. Maybe they're too busy now to give quality service. I like the cleanliness of the facility. They are still professional. I'll just keep an eye on this to see if it's a repeating problem.
My family and I have been going to Contact Lens Gallery for about 20 years since Dr. Maes was the owner and we've always had positive experiences. I've been dealing with a cornea issue for almost 3 weeks now and they have been beyond helpful in squeezing me in between appointments to check up on my eye and it's progress. The staff is all so friendly and helpful and truly show how they care about their patients. Thank you for all you do!
