Continuing my vision care being provided by Coos Bay Vision, i am very pleased with the professionalism with which my case was managed by each person in the office. We just found Patricia Gates a few months back and sad to see her retire because she is absolutely amazing!! After 39 years a retirement is more than deserved. Today she was very understanding about my health not being well enough (pneumonia for over 4 months that turned sepsis) to bring my daughter in before the trial period was up for her contacts. Didn't charge an additional fee, like she could have. Then gave my daughter a pair of contacts for free. Hoping the Dr that takes over for her is half as good. Those are some big shoes to fill. She really has been so wonderful! Edit- few months as in a little over 4 months ago that we became patients.

Hate to be one of the first bad reviews they have but I've been going to this place for years I called today for an appointment and because I haven't had any problems or been there since 21 I'm considered a new patient and they no longer have room to see me this is not a good policy and this is not how you should treat your patients that have been loyal and going to the same doctor for years. This is very upsetting when you find a place that you really appreciate and like the doctor and because of your good health they no longer have room to see me for a regular checkup

They worked me in this morning after an ER visit, and everyone was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and efficient! I could not be more pleased with the care I received. Highly recommend this practice.

This was by far the best vision appointment I have ever in my 43 years of wearing glasses! Dr. Patty Gates is both professional and compassionate. I absolutely loved her. I will definitely be going back.
