Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Incident with Employee and Disrespect To Customer Date: June 8, 2026 Location: Costco Wholesale, Caguas, Puerto Rico To the Management of Costco Wholesale Caguas / Customer Service Department: I am writing to you to file a formal complaint regarding a very unfortunate incident that occurred today at your Caguas location, in which the physical safety and dignity of my wife, a senior citizen customer, were compromised. Today, after finishing our shopping, she was walking through the store aisles. At that moment, two employees of your company approached, pushing shopping carts. Despite noticing her, they made no attempt to stop or slow down to let her pass. Because of this, she was forced to abruptly accelerate to avoid being hit by the carts. Given the dangerous situation, she approached the employee in front of her, assertively questioning whether he intended to hit her, as he showed no courtesy or consideration toward her or the other customers in the area. Far from apologizing for his carelessness, the employee reacted in an extremely hostile and defiant manner. He shouted at her in public, in a distraught manner, telling her that his supervisor was nearby, that she should go find him, and that she could file a complaint if she wanted. Following his instructions, we immediately located the supervisor on duty. We explained the altercation and his subordinate's behavior in detail; he indicated that he would take care of the situation. As citizens, Costco customers, and as a senior citizen, we pay for a membership and expect to be treated with respect, safety, and kindness. This employee's behavior not only jeopardized your physical safety but also constituted a serious act of public disrespect that should not be tolerated under any circumstances. I am writing this complaint with the firm expectation that the company will take the appropriate corrective and disciplinary measures with the employee involved. Customers deserve a safe environment and dignified treatment.

Membership Desk is Extremely Slow! Took me 2 hours waiting in line to become a member! This is ridiculous! Fix your process!

Costco at Plaza Centro in Caguas is a gem! The employees are always kind, helpful, and quick to assist truly top-tier service. Finding what you need is easy thanks to the clean, well-organized layout. The only downside? It gets very crowded, especially on weekends.
