Customer service It’s simply terrible—it’s not there. I am a customer who also needs to renew my contact lenses every three months. I tried making an eye-test wallpaper. online, also I tried to call him A woman answered rude and told me to wait right away, and then I waited for over an hour and a half and ended up leaving a message that they called me back, after four business day, nobody called me of course if I’m gonna directly go there, I have to spend more in a couple hours just in the line so it’s better to wait for doctor appointment somewhere else!

Recently came in to get my eyeglasses readjusted since they became crooked over time and had great customer service/support but unfortunately the lens on my Persols were horrifically scratched which is a big bummer. Otherwise, the people are exceptionally nice. Really sad that this was a result.

I have purchased glasses from Costco Optical Department a few times now. I find the experience easy, cost-effective and professional. You can have your eye test with an optician inside the store. Immediately you have a prescription that you can then use to purchase your eye glasses. The options are good. Within a few days my glasses were ready. You also get a discount, of course, being a Costco Member. They also had my previous prescription in their system, so they could look up what I purchased in the past. If you need your glasses adjusted or are not happy, you can bring them back.

I ordered glasses last week. All went very well. Then I received a text message that my glasses were ready. So today I went to pick them up, and after waiting a while for someone to help me, I saw a sign that said "Take a number". I took my number, which was 46. I then noted that the current number on the screen was 39. After waiting for 15 minutes, the number on the screen was still 39. I interrupted a saleswoman to say that I just needed to pick up my glasses, and she asked me to take a number. I said that I had done that, and if I had to wait for 6 people who were there to buy glasses, try them on, and so on, I could be standing there for an hour or more just waiting for someone to hand me my glasses. She said "I'm only one person, not a superhero, and I'm doing what I can." I said "Of course. I'm not blaming you, it's just that the organization sucks." In many years as a satisfied Costco customer, this is the very first time I felt that the management is completely out of touch with the needs of customers. Even if the Optical Department is understaffed, it takes only 2 minutes or so for a salesperson to hand a customer their glasses while another customer is trying on different frames and so on. Most customers are there to buy and try on glasses; to ask people who have already gone through that and are now only needing to pick them up, to wait until the others are completely finished carries the implication that Costco management has little regard for their customers' time and other responsibilities. I hope this is not true..
