Outstanding Service from True Professionals! I just picked up my new glasses at the Costco Optical Department on Jordan Court in Alpharetta, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I had the pleasure of working with Mark and Elmer, and they are, without a doubt, the most professional opticians I have ever worked with. From start to finish, they were extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure everything was handled perfectly, answering all my questions with absolute expertise. It is rare to find this level of top-tier customer service these days. If you need new glasses or an adjustment and want to work with people who truly know their craft and care about the customer, go see Mark or Elmer. I'll definitely be coming back here for all my future eyewear needs!

This review is regarding a lack of professionalism and communication at Eyedeal Vision inside Costco on Jordan Ct, Alpharetta, GA. Eyedeal Vision needs to address ongoing front desk communication issues. I had a very disappointing experience due to a lack of professionalism and basic communication from the front desk receptionist. On Thursday, 1/15/26, I walked in to make an eye doctor appointment for my husband and was never asked what insurance we have. An appointment was scheduled anyway, with no discussion of insurance acceptance. On Saturday, 1/17/26, while already at Costco, my husband and I stopped by to see if the appointment could be moved up. The receptionist said the next availability was 12:00 PM (it was around 10:00 AM), had us check in and complete paperwork, and told us to come back. When we returned at 12:00 PM, we were informed — for the first time — that the office only accepts three insurance plans, and ours was not one of them. This should have been communicated on Thursday, or at the very least before we were checked in and asked to complete paperwork. If an office accepts such a limited number of insurance plans, that should be one of the first questions asked, not an afterthought. As a result, we made three unnecessary trips and wasted a significant amount of time due to information that could have been shared upfront. This was completely avoidable. It’s also important to note that no other customers were present during any of my visits, so blaming workload or limited staffing does not excuse the lack of basic communication. If staffing is an issue, that is a management problem — not a customer’s. After reading recent reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident. Multiple complaints over the past several months describe the same front desk issue involving the same receptionist. Management needs to address this. Do better.
Terribly rude to me today a loyal customer of 15+ years. Andy, who is the manager, tried to shame me because I wanted to return glasses, that caused me headaches. He insisted that they were what I ordered, which I’m sure they were, but nonetheless, they gave me severe headaches. I had ordered two pair at the same time, kept one and still ordered another second pair. Not sure why shaming me would’ve changed the scenario in his mind. now they’ve lost yet another good customer.
Had a great experience with Andrew, the store manager! He helped guide me to frames which are the right size for me. I’ve had trouble with progressive lenses in the past and the “right sized” frames eliminated the distortion in previous glasses. Happy customer.
I have been coming here for a few years. Recently, our insurance changed to Cigna. On their website, it shows Cigna as one of the few insurance providers accepted. After making an appointment and receiving a confirmation and link to provide my updated information, Cigna was not listed under the drop-down as an insurance provider. Strange. When I walked in, I identified myself and that I had an appointment, but couldn't check in online. When I provided my Cigna vision insurance, she said they don't accept Cigna vision insurance. I mentioned it says on theor website this is one of only a few providers they do accept, and she nonchalantly said sometimes the website says things that aren't true. No apology, no empathy, just that sometimes their own website is known to be inaccurate. I said well, I guess I'll cancely appointment, and she responded with okay. As a previous retail employee, who trains these people? Why is the website not providing accurate information? The optometrist at this practice is the only one worth their salt. An embarrassment.
