I'm giving this office 2 stars, not because of the quality of the service, but because of the misleading pricing. When you enter Costco, the advertised prices state that contact lens and glasses exams are $175, while a regular eye exam is listed as $115. However, after my exam, I was charged $190—not because of taxes, but because my bill included a $115 eye exam and a $75 charge labeled "Extended Wear Soft." If certain types of contact lenses result in additional fees, that's perfectly reasonable, but those charges should be clearly communicated beforehand and transparently reflected on the pricing information. Instead, the additional charge came as a surprise. Also, if it were a sales tax (Which is 6% in Georgia with an local tax included, which we can assume is 8% all together.) The final price should be $189. I also have no idea what "Extended Wear Soft" means, as it isn't explained anywhere on the invoice. Without a clear definition or explanation of the charge, it's difficult for patients to understand exactly what they're paying for. Just saying, Greater transparency regarding pricing and billing would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.

I was disappointed with the way I was treated by the receptionist who scheduled my appointment. I found her attitude to be unprofessional and unfriendly, which negatively affected my overall experience. I hope the office will address this to ensure all patients are treated with courtesy and respect.
I recently visited the office . The young lady was not friendly that sits in the front. My experience was not great. I am from out of town and it was time for my eye exam. I only had the one pair I was wearing as I was waiting to come to Alpharetta to have and exam as I am here working on business. First I called the office to make and appointment all day no answer. I left a voicemail, sent message nothing. I called the Costco warehouse to verify if they were in the office and open and they were. I left work and zoom to the office and the young lady was not friendly. I explained to her that I had even calling all day she preceded to lie to me and said I answered the phone and then someone hung up. I told her no not true I only have one contact in my eye I tore one and need an exam. The young lady scheduled me for next day 5:30 pm great. I left went outside in the warehouse and was asking the great salesman Mark about pricing and advised him I only had one contact and that I would be back tomorrow after work. Mark was a champ and went back in Eyedeal and asked for me a sample pair so I would not be driving with one contact and came back with a sample pair of my current prescription until the next day. Way to go Mark you are a champ. The young lady I’m Eyedeal didn’t are did not offer me anything at all. I came in the next day same young lady was so disinterested unfriendly didn’t explain anything to me although I know the process 1st time there. Poor customer service!!! Now the doctor she came in with a smile but rushed during the entire exam. She was in such a hurry. I paid 175 for my exam but skeptical that it is correct because everything was so rushed. I will not be visiting this eyedeal again. I am from out of town and will definitely share my experience with everyone about my experience there. Mark was great and took the time to here me. The doctor and the young lady that sit in the front need more etiquette on how to treat customers and patients. I will definitely spread the word.
I appreciate how efficient the visit was. Literally the first time someone got the puffs on the first try! Reading other reviews the assistant was either having an off day or they read her wrong lol. She was soft spoken and to the point and as someone who gets described as aloof a lot I could tell she is just an introvert. The doctor was bubbly and loud (in a good way) very fast but answered my questions and explained everything. I had to wait a few minutes after my pre testing but with only one doctor and assistant that I saw it was no bother since I was only there a total of 20ish mins. Overall I think they are doing a good job with such a small staff and office. I will be back next year.
This review is regarding a lack of professionalism and communication at Eyedeal Vision inside Costco on Jordan Ct, Alpharetta, GA. Eyedeal Vision needs to address ongoing front desk communication issues. I had a very disappointing experience due to a lack of professionalism and basic communication from the front desk receptionist. On Thursday, 1/15/26, I walked in to make an eye doctor appointment for my husband and was never asked what insurance we have. An appointment was scheduled anyway, with no discussion of insurance acceptance. On Saturday, 1/17/26, while already at Costco, my husband and I stopped by to see if the appointment could be moved up. The receptionist said the next availability was 12:00 PM (it was around 10:00 AM), had us check in and complete paperwork, and told us to come back. When we returned at 12:00 PM, we were informed — for the first time — that the office only accepts three insurance plans, and ours was not one of them. This should have been communicated on Thursday, or at the very least before we were checked in and asked to complete paperwork. If an office accepts such a limited number of insurance plans, that should be one of the first questions asked, not an afterthought. As a result, we made three unnecessary trips and wasted a significant amount of time due to information that could have been shared upfront. This was completely avoidable. It’s also important to note that no other customers were present during any of my visits, so blaming workload or limited staffing does not excuse the lack of basic communication. If staffing is an issue, that is a management problem — not a customer’s. After reading recent reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident. Multiple complaints over the past several months describe the same front desk issue involving the same receptionist. Management needs to address this. Do better.
