My wife, my son and I all bought glasses here. NONE of us are happy. I am not sure if it is that our prescriptions are off or if the lenses are garbage, but we all have trouble seeing now. We have been back, they adjusted them and they are still bad. In my case, I have progressive lenses and I feel like the near vision takes up way too much of the lens. I either have to wear them really low on my nose or tip my head down unnaturally far to be able to see. Half the time I go without because it is less hassle than to deal with them! My son has single vision and has complained that his vision is fuzzy in them. He often goes without or has started buying contacts from time to time so he can see at school. My wife has progressives and struggles with head placement on hers as well. Considering the fact that it is all three of us that have issues with different prescriptions, I am leaning towards the idea that the lenses are very low quality. I don't know if Costco changed something or what. We have not had issues in the past, but this latest round of glasses are horrible! On top of that, we ran out the return/replace windows with "adjustments" and "getting used to them". Now we have to replace all three before our prescriptions even need changing. So much for saving money!

Costco optical in Brainerd mn.. I went to return 2 pairs of glasses that I purchased there. I bought the same ones I was wearing elsewhere because of my eyes not being able to adjust to the ones from Costco. I wanted a refund and only had them for 2 weeks. They do have a return policy for 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Megan was very rude about me wanting a refund and told me, she would do it but I "could never do business there again". She was upset that I didn't let them try to fix them. This is the 2nd time I have purchased glasses there that haven't worked. The 1st pair I did not return..Not very good CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The Optical center is great - just don't try to get assistance by phone. I spent 30 minutes on hold in 2 attempts. After the first attempt I was told that I HAD to be put on hold again. There needs to be a better system!
