I went in today with my doctor's prescription to get a price on glasses. This is my first time checking out Costco for glasses. While waiting, I picked out a couple of frames I thought I'd want. After a short wait a young woman named Valerie came over to help me. She was very pleasant and took her time to explain the whole process, including price, lense material and all options I had. I ended up getting two pairs, one of them being sunglasses. The price was very good, the service Valerie supplied was better than expected and I left happy. This would be a five star review except I havent received my glasses yet. It could change. Stay tuned!

I recently attempted to schedule an eye exam at the vision care office inside Costco, expecting that they would accept my federal employee health insurance for vision coverage. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. From the moment I arrived, the level of unprofessionalism was both surprising and disappointing. The staff was not only unhelpful but also came across as rude and dismissive. There was a clear lack of customer service and professionalism, which made it clear that they I would highly discourage anyone from scheduling an eye exam at this location. Costco itself may have a great reputation, but since the vision care office is privately run, it does not meet the same standards. I recommend looking elsewhere for eye care where professionalism and customer service are a priority.

Dr. Altenbernd is great. She is very friendly and helpful. They took us as walk-in twice and got us through with a new prescription quickly. Being able to order frames and get them shipped has been so helpful since optometrist appointments were booked out 8 months at our local stores. It’s is a great experience

Outstanding service. Optometrist was pleasant. Great service for myself and my husband. My adult daughter just made an appointment for Tuesday.

I've been going here for three years now for my yearly exam and to buy glasses. First and foremost, they have great pricing on the exam and especially the glasses when you factor in they include all of the usual things other companies upcharge for for free, and that they have their glasses in-store to try on (sure some websites are cheaper but you can't actually try on for fit and color). You can also take your prescription with you, you do NOT have to buy from them. The doctors are competent and friendly. Note that the doctor is an independent contractor and not a Costco employee. Minimal wait to get in to see them, although they usually don't do walk-ins. Cons: It can take a while for the glasses you ordered to come in (like 2 weeks). Sometimes they don't have enough people staffed, so ordering glasses on a weekend can take a while for your turn. I see some people had a problem with the staff but I have never experienced this.
