The frames are cheap. One pair I replaced twice because a decorative part near the hinge fell off. The second set of frames snapped at the endpeice just below the hinge twice. Neither of these brakes are repairable. The glasses were replaced, but I won’t buy from there again. I went multiple times and one person did absolutely nothing. My time is more valuable than having to wait for replacement frames. For frames: ⭐️ For staff that actually helps:⭐️⭐️⭐️ For that looks busy does nothing person: .

I love Costco Optical. I always get compliments on my frames, and what makes it even better is how affordable and reasonable they are. I had two encounters with employees on separate occasions. One was an older Caucasian man and the other was a younger Caucasian woman. They were both extremely helpful especially since I had to make 3 visits, they held onto my glasses until my prescription was sent to them directly… for reference I bought 3 glasses for $350 without using insurance. I recently have bought my son 2 pairs for $200 and one was progressive.
Highly recommend coming here instead of another chain vision center. I could tell all the staff helping people genuinely cared, especially Mario & Denise. Mario fixed my bent frames within 5 minutes and replaced my nose pads. He even went the extra mile and adjusted my prescription sunglasses that I bought elsewhere.
I went to get new updated prescription lenses & glasses. The eye exam was quick & easy, I went around 11am on a Friday. I paid $95 for the eye exam. Then, I went to Optical Department. Not a lot of choices for glasses at this location but definitely more online. My glasses were about $200. It was an okay experience but I remember the first time I went to this place it was better in 2022. 3/31/24 UPDATE: whatever glue they used on my lenses isn’t holding well. As well as, between the plastic & metal of my glasses dust/dirt easily gets stuck & I can’t get it out. Gonna return them & get a more sturdy glasses elsewhere. It didn’t even last a week.
My glasses were uncomfortable to wear. I went to the store today and was helped by Mario. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made the necessary adjustments and double checked the fit. He never made me feel rushed even though the department was quite crowded. Mario went above and beyond!
