I visited the optical department at Costco Easton on March 27, 2026, between 6:00–7:00 PM to have my eyeglasses adjusted, as they had become loose. Unfortunately, the staff member I interacted with appeared unhappy and was somewhat rude. I was told to go to another shop instead of being assisted. This was a very disappointing experience, as I have always expected courteous and helpful service from Costco.

I fell ill while being served to select new glasses. Though well outside of her work duties, she ensured I got some nutrients in my system, offered to call my family, offered to get me food and said I could sit in the area as long as I needed. Her service outside of these special circumstances was great as well.
A complete waste of time. It is hard to schedule an appointment and when you try you just get blown off. Nobody working their gives a damn about you.
My second time using their optical and I'm just tired of it. The doctor is fine, and I like him, but the glasses department is so horrible. The first time, the woman working there made comments about the glasses I wanted to pick, without prompting. The glasses when they came didn't fit well and no one offered to adjust them. Then this time, the first employee kept trying to sell me sunglasses, and when I picked up my glasses one person wouldn't make eye contact with me and the other made it seem like I was interrupting his chat sesh to get my items. When I brought up my concerns with the fit of my glasses he just kept replying like I was asking alot and didn't know what I was asking for. The glasses came back fitting totally different from how they fit when I tried them on and it was really concerning. I'm so tired of feeling like I'm a bother to the employees at this location and getting substandard glasses. They aren't cheap. I'll go elsewhere next time.
