Brian was a joy to work with. Kind, patient, and skilled. It was crazy busy even on a Monday afternoon and he made what could have been a dreadful experience worth doing. Honestly, without such great customer care, we would never return to Costco for our glasses even with the better products at lower cost. Just too hectic.

I bought a pair of glasses here a few years ago and LOVE them, they’re truly my favorite glasses I’ve ever had. So imagine my horror and despair when I wake up from a peaceful nap this weekend to find that the “lab” puppy of truly epic (and increasingly terrifying) size and proportions found my beloved spectacles and proceeded to enact horrors upon them that were banned decades ago by the Genova Convention. After cycling through all of the stages of grief over the past 24 hours, I went in today fully expecting to be purchasing another set, and sheepishly held up the mangled set for Brian at the counter to behold. He took a look at them, turned them over a couple of times, and then imagine my surprise as he takes them away and within 10 minutes has them looking brand new! Apparently the rows of puppy-shark teeth somehow miraculously missed the lenses and base frame, and only destroyed the rubber pieces that he replaced within minutes, and the frame was flexible enough that it could be un-contorted back into it’s original shape!! And when I asked with absolute awe (and a little worship at this point) how much the replacement parts and repair would be, he said it was no cost! Brian is the hero we need right now—or at least the hero I needed today, thank you so much for fixing these!! (And in case anyone is concerned, the puppy is fine and was in fact Very Pleased with herself for so thoroughly destroying the “new toy”.)
I was informed the staff is new and in my experience, I was dealt with professionally and kindly. My exam was done efficiently. My glasses arrived earlier than expected, immediately improved vision, and they worked very well after a friendly and professional fitting.
I'm a senior who has had both good in the past and the last time God awful experiences at this optical Costco location. Like another reviewer, I have had to go back 3 times to resolve my vision problems with these glasses. I, too, bought 2 pairs. The sunglasses are fine. The main glasses have given me nothing but grief. When I called to see Dr. Brady about these glasses I was told I would have to have another exam the earliest appointment was July 27th. I have been wearing my old glasses now for over a month. As a senior It has throughly been a nightmare
These guys are really busy and it can take forever to get through the line. This is something you need to know going into there. The service as a whole is great but it is dependent on the individual you are working with. The glasses selection changes and most recently didn't focus on luxury brands as heavily as it had in the past. I hope that is not a trend. Many of their frames are made by luxottica but the price is almost always better than at a luxottica store. Were they really shine is in their lenses. In true Costco/Kirkland fashion they have worked out a lens with all the popular options people pay hundreds for and wrap them up in a neet little package and charge only 59 bucks for them. This is my go to place for designer frames when they are in stock.
