Diego was SUPER helpful! We went two days in a row because we couldn’t decide which glasses to get but he was really patient and gave amazing advice. He was totally amazing, we asked too many questions and he stayed super nice and shared a lot of knowledge! We ordered glasses and we will definitely come back with Diego for more!!! 🤓

Lauren was rude, Christian was helpful. But they seem like they don’t want to help you. Not very polite and seems like you bother them. They need friendlier employee. Christian sent me with another girl who just blew us off. Bad service!

Optical employees aren’t helpful. They’re too busy discussing holiday recipes to offer assistance and appear bothered when you ask for help. They’re pretty pointless. =) this is referring to the two Women working there on 11/23 at 11am. Private opticals surpass them in customer service. If you care about quality of service then shop elsewhere.

My review is for the 20/20 Now Service independent of Costco and also for the on-site customer care. I called 20/20 Now to set up an appointment ahead of time. I would definitely recommend that and that you not try to walk-in, though they do take walk-ins. Calling ahead and setting up an appointment made it easier, as 20/20 Now emailed me pre-check-in paperwork which I completed before I got to the appointment and that helped make the process smoother. Set aside more time than you think you'll need. The exam was very thorough, especially for contacts. I had back to back appointments with my husband and it took 3 hours. Norma, the technician who was handling everything on-site did a fantastic job! She is fluent in English and Spanish. She went above and beyond to help me, and she even ensured that I didn't have to come back (I live nearly 3 hours away) by getting me a trial pair of contacts for astigmatism that they usually don't have! She was very personable and took a lot of time and care during the exam. I had a good experience, but I do think there are some things you should know before you go: -There is NO onsite optometrist. Your prescription consultation is performed virtually. -They DO NOT dilate your eyes. A good thing if you are by yourself, as you don't need a driver. -They use a lot of machines and procedures to assist in accuracy. They definitely did MORE testing than I've ever done before at an eye exam. -The exams are very thorough! They even did a close-reading exam. Since when have you had that? The virtual optometrist actually FIXED my prescription that was incorrect from my previous optometrist that I saw in person! My vision is so much better now! For me, the entire experience was superior to any optometrist I've seen in person. If you have real eye issues or health issues that contribute to eye problems, like diabetes, this may not be the method for you. But for me, someone who was going to have to wait to be seen 2 months from now locally, and who could get in quick so I could order a new round of contacts for the year, this place worked perfectly.

If I could give them a negative number of stars I would. I went here to get my prescription glasses done. The optician David Lopez was the epitome of incompetence. He asked pretty inconsequential questions regarding my prescription. These were things that he would be expected to know as an optician. In the past all my opticians and optometrists only needed to see my prescription in order to get my prescription glasses fulfilled. As I had expected in the beginning, Mr. Lopez made my glasses wrong. He had me talking to my optometrist in order to ask her questions about things he should have known. So, I had to ask permission from work in order visit my optometrist's to explain the situation. One of my optometrist's staff gave Mr. Lopez a call in order to provide him with the information that he needed in order to fulfill my prescription. After this was done, I called him back he said that he did not remember receiving such a call. This guy is completely aloof and he also wanted to talk directly to my optometrist and to unduly extend the time it takes to make a pair of glasses to an entire week in half. Basically this guy wanted me to do his job for him. He was completely unaware and indifferent to the fact that I cannot be taking time off from my work in other to carry on with his incompetence. He was a complete an utter waste of time. So finally, I told him that I wanted a full reimbursement to which he agreed. The day later he forgot still went ahead and remade my glasses, even after I told him not to continue a day before! Again, as expected, my glasses were not done correctly. When was last there I asked to the staff for a full refund, not without them rolling their eyes at me with a very unfriendly demeanor. To top it off, I asked for them to provide the refund on my credit card but they wanted to reimburse me in cash. It took them a whopping 35 minutes to process my reimbursement! I can tolerate a bit of bad quality of service in other many matters but not when it comes to areas related to the health and well being of my eyes; I really don't believe Mr. Lopez is the best match for this job and the staff here is disinterested and unfriendly to their clients.
