Costco continues to be one of my favorite places to shop because it delivers value, consistency, and convenience every single time. From the moment you walk in, the store feels organized, clean, and well‑run. The employees are always friendly and efficient, whether they’re helping at checkout, stocking shelves, or serving food at the famous food court. The product selection is one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back. You can find everything from fresh produce and quality meats to household essentials, electronics, and seasonal items—all in one trip. The bulk pricing saves a lot of money, especially for families or anyone who likes to stay stocked up. Their Kirkland Signature brand continues to impress me with great quality at unbeatable prices. The food court is another highlight. The $1.50 hot dog combo is iconic for a reason, and items like the chicken bake, pizza, and ice cream are always fresh and satisfying. It’s the perfect quick stop after shopping. Overall, Costco offers excellent value, great customer service, and a shopping experience that feels reliable every time. It’s hard to beat the combination of quality, price, and convenience they provide.

Love Costco, so does Everyone who shops there. Busy as always, for a reason. Can’t beat the pizza on the way out! I ***Pizza hack: I always carry their amazing Kirkland brand no salt seasoning with me in a little shaker and then add the onions (on the counter for hot dogs) for my vege crunch. Perfect lunch! ***
Update last week: 7/2026 Better updated selections! Got snacks and soap deals but also walked different aisles like I usually do when I come to Costco. Always best price for water softener salt! Self check out is nice you still have staff on standby if assistance is needed which I love. Smaller location but more than enough! Impulse buy but so worth it: jackfruit tasted amazing! (11 months ago) Always crowded on a weekend. Always great selections on packed prepared meals. I couldn’t take pics of different aisles as there are too much shoppers. But same layout for Costco though I don’t think this location has alcohol shop on the side. Still organized despite a lot of shoppers.
Gus in the Membership department displayed what I thought was a lack of courtesy during my initial store visit on the afternoon of 06 June. I visited to pick up my membership card, and wasn't sure where to stand, having never been in the store. I stood in line for a couple minutes listening to him explain the benefits of membership to two female customers, then stepped forward to be assisted by the male employee working with him. Gus thought it appropriate to loudly exclaim, "There's a line, sir!" while his coworker quietly told me "there's a line by the banner." I don't think of myself as a delicate flower or a unique snowflake, but I think Gus could have handled that moment with a bit more class. Especially if he appeared and sounded to have no problem being friendly during his attempt to make a sale.
You know, I have been going to Costco with my grandparents for years now, specifically at the UTSA one. I don’t have a Costco card myself and was planning on getting one soon, but after this experience I had, I’m going to have to reconsider. Once in a while, we come to the Potranco/1604/Dove Creek (whatever you wanna call it) Costco. But I won’t be coming back anytime soon. When I was coming in, my grandfather had the Costco card and my grandmother and I were walking in and my grandmother kindly said, “my husband has the card” but this lady named JESSICA who worked there put her hand out and blocked us from moving, hitting my body and told us to wait in this cold and demeaning voice until my grandfather scanned the card. It was almost like we were like dogs. She takes her job too seriously. Yes, like we’re gonna break in without a card when we are not the people to do that. She is acting like this is TSA security checkpoint. That truly pissed me off. Costco, if you are making people pay good money for a membership. Your employees should treat us with respect. And it’s not like we can pay for anything without the card. It is truly upsetting. Costco, do better, and if you see JESSICA, show her this bad review. I won’t be coming here for a while. The UTSA one is better. Truly upsetting. I am fuming. Shame to Costco and absolute SHAME on JESSICA.
