I was amazed, beyond amazed. I needed progressive lenses for the first time and was astounded at the price to the lenses, nearly $700 + tax. I decided to start calling around and looking online. I barely had a progressive addition of +1.00 and just couldn't understand how I would afford it even with my glasses allowance of $325. My insurance representative told me that I could use the allowance to buy just the frames if I wanted and try to buy the lenses myself if I wanted. I searched from October through December constantly for frames because most glasses sit too low down half my cheek. I had 2 pairs picked out and one day happened to be at Potomac Mills Mall for the first time in +15 years and decided to Wonder into Costco on December 23 without a membership. I saw the optical sign and just "figured" I'd ask as I had been doing for months and getting price quotes and daily test messages from various places trying to get the best deal. THE BEST DEAL WAS COSTCO!!! I was beyond ASTOUNDED, BEYOND BELIEF, and most importantly, I WAS RELIEVED! Right then and there I went to to the Membership Desk and got my Membership to Costco even though I'd been dedicated to Sam's Club, for the past 4 years going every week, but they couldn't beat the price. I them went and used my insurance to buy the frames at a place in the mall that accepted my insurance and got the super expensive frames for $30 My Membership + the "Provide Your Own Frames" Fee (much less than everywhere else) + My Progressive Lenses that AUTOMATICALLY COME IN THE THINNER 1.67 HIGH INDEX, ALREADY HAVE THE ANTIREFLECTIVE COATING, ALREADY HAVE THE SMUDGE PROOF + Taxes was only 1/3 (One Third) the price I could try to get them anywhere else. People always recommend that you get Progressive Lens in person and not online so that the person fitting you and taking your measurements can factor in the height of the lenses and what you do like look down at a keyboard, paperwork, don't work or look down for lots of reading towards your lap, etc ... So that the magnification doesn't start too high in your direct line of sight. My glasses are fabulous and the gentleman who helped me made me feel like I was being helped by a true friend who wanted the best for me and for me to look my most attractive. I believe his name was BK and he was so kind and he gave you that feeling that you could stand there and talk to him all day. I placed my order on December 23 @ 8 PM (Submitted in on December 24). He told me that they "should" come in 2 weeks. I automatically replied with, "Yeah, I know Christmas and those off and closed days and then New Year's. I understand." My Glasses Came Back On January 4, JUST 11 DAYS THROUGH TWO MAJOR HOLIDAYS with extra days off! I couldn't have been happier and I've been telling everyone I know and that I don't know! I truly am appreciative of the wonderful service, the wonderful quality of their employees and products, and my new lenses that I can SEE OUT OF! Thank you so much!
