Costco Optical

I used to rave and recommend the optical department. No longer. Between wrong Rx, miscommunication, wrong lens sent for frame, 3+ months later, still don't have my rx glasses. Julie tries her best, but it seems most of the others are just there for a paycheck. Sneers, rolled eyes, huffs...you know, kid stuff. Very disappointed.

All the staff at Middleton Costco Vision Center are amazing. But I can't tell you enough about Melissa ❤️ She is amazing, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Melissa not only helps you with all the needs you have about glasses, but also she will take time to help you fit your glasses the way you want. If I could give her 10 ⭐, I would! Thanks for all you do~ Melissa !

I do not recommend this place for an optical exam. I went there recently and the eye doctor gave me a full exam and wrote a prescription without realizing I had a contact lens in one eye. I take responsibility for forgetting, yes I own that. But a medical professional looking at my eyes for that long and that close and they did not catch it? Unforgivable. Obviously because I was wearing one contact the prescription I was given isn’t accurate. Later, when I realized the error they did offer to redo the exam. But obviously all my trust in this provider is completely broken leaving me to go somewhere else and paying again for an exam since the provider also refused a refund.

I had a great experience with Costco optical today. Samantha was super helpful and efficient. Everything went much smoother than any other time I have bought glasses. Good choice of frames and great prices.

To make a long story short, I was having a bad experience after I ordered two pair of glasses from Costco . On the evening of 2/7/18 I went to the Middleton store to finally pick up my last pair of glasses. The woman at the counter (Julie) listened to the issues with empathy and discussed the store's operations in a professional manner. Then with the help of the store manager (I wish I had got her name)they came up with solution that exceeded my expectations. Any business can make mistakes. It's how they and their employees handle the problems that separates great stores from the run of the mill. Thank you Julie and Costco, you turned me into a satisfied customer.
