This will be my last time visiting this Costco. I want to make it clear that my complaint is NOT about the employees in the food court. They have always been friendly and helpful. My issue is with the cashiers, the checkout assistants, and the employees managing the lines. The customer service at this location is consistently disappointing. Every time I come here, I encounter employees with poor attitudes who don’t even make the effort to greet customers with a simple “good morning” or “good afternoon.” Basic courtesy seems to be completely missing. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but that’s not an excuse for treating customers with indifference or rudeness. If someone is unhappy working in customer service, they should consider working somewhere else rather than taking it out on customers. I have visited several other Costco locations around Houston, and the experience is completely different. The staff at those locations are generally welcoming, professional, and respectful. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at this Costco. The cashiers, checkout assistants, and line attendants consistently come across as unfriendly and unpleasant. After multiple negative experiences, I have decided that I will not be returning to this location. Costco is known for providing great customer service, but this store falls far below that standard.

have not had a bad customer experience here. i’ve found when you approach the employees about an issue with a good attitude, a good attitude is returned. good location, fast moving lines even during busy times. wouldn’t recommend going during weekends or even weekday evenings because it gets very busy, but that’s a matter of personal preference :)

Unfortunately, I canceled my Costco membership because of how an issue at the gas station was handled. I was waiting in line for gas when one of the pumps appeared to be available because the light was green. However, the pump was actually blocked by a cone, which wasn't visible from the back of the line. The driver in front of me pulled up, realized the pump couldn't be used, backed up, and then moved forward. Since he didn't pull into the blocked pump, I assumed he was waiting his turn for the next available pump, just as everyone else in line was. As we were waiting, a woman who had been behind me drove around and took a pump that had just become available, cutting in front of those of us who had been waiting. I informed the gas attendant, Bryce, that the woman had jumped the line. At that point, she had not yet swiped her Costco membership card or inserted her payment card. Bryce immediately told me that he couldn't tell her not to pump. I explained that I wasn't asking him to remove her from the pump, I was simply informing him that she had cut the line. I even asked if he could at least explain the proper procedure to her so it wouldn't happen again. Instead, when Bryce spoke with her, I saw them both pointing toward my vehicle, which made me feel singled out rather than having my concern handled professionally. I then went inside and spoke with a manager. I explained exactly what happened. The manager responded by saying he couldn't pull Bryce off the pumps at that moment. That wasn't what I was asking for. I wasn't telling management how to discipline an employee or how to run the store. I was simply reporting a customer service issue and expected management to address it appropriately according to Costco's policies which I would think he should be qualified to do if he has the job. Unfortunately, customer service is lacking at this particular Costco location. After reading other reviews, I noticed that while the experiences aren't identical, many reflect similar concerns about how this store is managed. Based on my experience, I can understand why the other reviews exist. This experience wasn't about waiting a few extra minutes for gas. It was about fairness, professionalism, and basic customer service. Instead, I felt my concerns were dismissed at every level. As a result, I canceled my Costco membership and I will not be returning.

Exceptional Customer Service from Ryan, Angela & Zainab! I had such a wonderful experience with Ryan, Angela, and Zainab during my visit yesterday. What started as a simple request for help turned into one of those unexpectedly meaningful customer interactions that reminds you how much people matter. Ryan was the first team member I interacted with, and I intentionally addressed him by name. We started chatting, and before long, Angela and Zainab joined the conversation as well. Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to engage made the experience feel completely different from a typical shopping trip. Before I left, one of them shared that while most Costco customers are nice and say hello, it’s rare for someone to actually stop and take the time to engage in genuine conversation. That comment really stuck with me. I want to recognize all three of them because they created an experience that went far beyond simply helping a customer. They made me feel welcomed, seen, and appreciated. Ryan, Angela, and Zainab thank you three again for being amazing representatives of Costco! Your kindness and genuine interaction did not go unnoticed. Costco is lucky to have you! ❤️

As a Costco member for 23 years, I’ve noticed a marked decline in customer service at this location over the past four years. Staff rarely acknowledge members upon entry or at the checkout registers. I recently experienced a purchase issue that was handled unprofessionally: I paid for two of the same item but received only one. When I sought resolution, the response was dismissive—I was essentially told nothing could be done. Employee training at this store appears inadequate, and I wonder whether a change in management over the last several years has contributed to the problem. Overall, the environment no longer feels welcoming. The only consistent greetings come from the persistent internet or key-fob salespeople.
